You mean word of man. Man designed and wrote the Bible. It’s full of man’s doctrines and traditions. God didn’t write one word of it. No man has ever seen The Creator.

Vanessa Lewis amen 🙏🏽! I’ve battled this for years until God let me get tired and showed me to be still and let Him be God in my relationship. Only God has the power to change us and other people. Our job is to obey God’s word as you stated and be a mirror of God’s unconditional love, mercy, forgiveness, patient etch we are to be the waking bible others haven’t read. Hard but possible with God. Ive learned it’s not by might or power but by God’s spirit. I no longer drain myself. I pray and let Hod do His work. I kind of have a testimony for this. Where I work, my department is nothing but women. Drama, attitudes, drama, gossiping, drama, and more attitudes. I walked past a coworker (name her 'T') a few days ago who verbally and openly talked to herself about how she couldn't standing working with a particular other coworker (call her 'M') (calling her a bad word). I kind of paused wondering what was going on. 'T' didn't know I was nearby and said I wasn't supposed to hear that. I kind of tugged her to explain what she meant. Once she mentioned 'M's' name, the flesh in me wanted to entertain this backtalk and gossip about 'M' because in the past, 'M' was VERY hard on me when I was first training. I am the quietest one, and I was miserable and very frightened of this terrible world of employment I stepped into. 'M' wasn't very patient me, often making me feel bad for mistakes and not learning fast enough, and her attitude was often spoken of and even reported, but later on as I continued to work, 'M' got A LOT better, and I knew deep down she cared. She just had an intimidating presence. So, when 'T' went on and on, yes, I wanted to entertain it, but I literally felt the Holy Spirit say 'Don't you dare say a word about her!'. So, I didn't. I manipulated the conversation where I successfully got her to talk about something else, but slightly related. How could I look at 'M' in the face knowing i participated in gossip about her? Here's another thing; the Holy Spirit gave me another chance. Months earlier, the Holy Spirit tried to get me to shut up, but I let something slip, and immediately felt convinced. Now, the person I gossiped about actually has ended up ministering to me. As we worked together more often, I got closer to her. She's always giving me verses, prayings for me and encouraging me to always have faith in God. The guilt in my heart has never left me. And the gossip wasn't anything horrific, but rather a misunderstanding about her. So, Now, I'm super cautious of what I say, even if I am in the securest setting of gossip. Ladies, don't do it.

I had the exact same situation happen also at the workplace years ago. God puts us in situations to test us u passed the test because u listened and eventually learned. Some women never catch on or listen to the Holy Ghost. Thanks for sharing

Hi Beverley and I am sure we have tons of them here in South Africa ,but where do you find a Godly woman that is really submissive to God..It is so hard to really find a woman that allow God to move her and like old school woman that knows how to cherish and treat her man,to let him be the head and lead her in the things of the Lord..It is hard and a woman that is not shy to serve her husband cause the moment a man finds such a woman as in proverbs,a virteous wife,That man finds favor with the Lord...And i just want to walk with the Lord and serve the Lord with my partner and serve togather and be a man that God wants me to be and not any other,but a gentle,caring and kind heart man.....So hard

Amen!

I'm so glad God sent me here because I was so focused on outer self that my inner soul was in turmoil. Now that I am more focused on being a woman of virtue and wanting to obey God I'm more at peace believe me it's a daily walk for me

If you are married to an unbelieving husband and your marriage is suppose to help build your character! You only need God to help you deal with it....it's the choice that we made that is causing problems for most believers in their marriage but God can still help us with the consequences of our choice . Malachi 2 .10 -11

Very Eye opening. So glad I get to introspect myself. And fix what God is not pleased with.

I needed to hear all this to be reminded and to be clearheaded again of my right to choose what I want in my life again what I want in my life a partner in my life to share in my godly life

I'm a non-denominational Christian and I appreciate this very much. Another passage that I recommend women read on this subject and would be another excellent sermon on would be Proverbs 31 which this called the "Virtuous Wife." It doesn't have to necessarily apply to a married woman only. It could also be instructions on how to be a virtuous woman in general. Thanks for sharing this message. God bless!!

This was powerful! I had no idea that this was First Baptist Church of Glenarden until he said it and they showed the crowd. I went to their Christmas program December 2017 and the presence of the LORD was so strong, had my unborn baby boy jumping for joy the whole time we were there. I would love to visit this church on a Sunday especially after listening to this pastor. The points he gave from Titus I must say I need to reexamine myself like now! Thank you pastor Jenkins for this powerful message. To God be the glory and bless you and your church/family

I can give up the wine even though I drink it in moderation not to be drunk. Have to make the changes with that.

l feel the men need this sermon to. Women have so much to contend with as it is. I feel it speaks for itself coming to church to be healed while the man is absent from her side. Men do that at work now equal pay for the same job. Woman thou Art Loose. Why weren't we anyway. I could go on and on. Women God loves us he created us. Be blessed. Be all you can be.

It's ALWAYS going to work out right, when we simply do things God's way, according to His Word. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)

I just realized this was FBC of Glen Arden. I fellow shipped at this church when I lived in Maryland. This is a good word for the women!

It's 8 years later & this is still so relevant! Thank you Pastor Jenkins for teaching this lesson in a practical way. I NEEDED THIS TODAY because my temper has NOT been godly the past 2 days! I am confessing, repenting & moving towards better, being holy & righteous!!!! 😇

This church teaches the word I miss going pastor and First Lady keep up what you’re doing blessed too have been in your church.

I just happened to click on Pastor Jenkins on 4/16 message spiritual warfare. I listened to the Spiritual Warfare parts 1-4 and it has blessed my soulI have listened throughout the night. I have rededication my life to Christ/God because I was convicted. From listening to his teachings just I am about to relocate from Chicago to wherever his church is just to get the word of God.

I found you in 2022! Started with the "Spirtual Warfare" now I'm binge watching sermons. My God my God! THIS is what we need. Unfiltered, raw, meat! Lord I'm full...💃 praise dance!!!
