I have 10 grandchildren. Most in their early twenties and late teens. I have prayed long for this. They are believers, but this is a crazy world!

We’ve been praying for revival for many years, but it has to be God’s will. Right now, I’m thrilled for what is going on, but our will needs to be aligned with God, so I’m quietly rejoicing with our mighty God!

We live 40 minutes away and we went with my son's youth group. They didn't have room to fit our group of 29 so we watched via satellite at a church nearby.

It is so encouraging to witness God working on the young people! Praying for his Holy Spirit to spread like a wildfire across all of the college campuses, schools to defeat the enemy’s attack on our children and yes, churches and communities. Praying for the lost to be saved including my oldest son! 🙏 Also, praising God’s timing for this…a few days after the horrific Grammy’s. 🙌🏻

Thank you brother Max Lucado for this wonderful message through our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you and your team. This coming July we will be opening the doors of our physical church in our community on Pohnpei. But I am not sure this is important. Our children are much more important than this building. I do believe that when they learn more about God-the Father; God-the Son; and God-the Holy Spirit would be something will last them their lifetimes.

THANK YOU, Max, I needed to hear such positive, hopeful, and encouraging words today. Please pray for me that my depression will end and I will find employment soon.

I'm just beginning to recover from an overwhelming depression of 5 years. So I know prayer can change everything. I asked this group, Our Daily Bread & my IRL Prayer Warriors to pray for me. I am being healed from my depression I'm beginning to care about life & taking care of myself again. I'm not cured, but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel as I become myself again. I am living proof prayer changes things for the better. I pray you find peace beyond understanding, feel God's love, are able to give & accept love to/from His people. & thet you find a fulfilling career.

@@02markcal ❤ Thank you. I was crushed by the seemingly endless tests at the time. I felt like God was just being cruel. & It was the 1st time I was angry with God, but never stopped trusting Him. I just kept believing that my experiences would eventually help me to encourage someone else.

Millennials were born between 1981 & 1996 & most of us clearly remember September 11th. I'm one of the eldest Millennials & I'm 42. I was born in Jan of 1981. Even the youngest Millennials who were born in 1996 were 6 years old on 9/11/2001. They will be turning 27 this year. Most of Gen Y was born after 9/11 or are too young to remember it. The youngest of Gen Y will be 11 this year & the oldest will be 26 by Dec 31, 2023. I can definitely understand why our age group aged 27-42 is dealing with more depression than others. We just witnessed a lot of traumatic world events during our most impressionable years & that doesn't even include our personal issues. If we were unchanged by the turmoil surrounding us compounded by the lack of a connection to God we wouldn't be human. I really pray for a revival for my generation we need it badly as we now know that hurt people, hurt other people. We're now parents, educators, spiritual leaders & are taking the baton from Gen X & Baby Boomers. We need the Lord's guidance because can't pass our trauma onto the generations that follow us.

😅Days later, I noticed how much I wrote! I'm so sorry, thank you to anyone who actually read/s all of it.

My daughter, after 3 years at Abilene Christian University, has started dating another woman. This beautiful young lady has made a choice in the presence of "revival" that confounds and confuses me...leaving me feeling abandoned and hopeless. I need revival.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17 That verse means two things. 1. He lives in us so we have liberty from whatever we need liberty from. 2. When we soak in his presence he brings us liberty from whatever we need liberty from. Number two is what is happening at Asbury university and others now. He's ministering to, refreshing, healing, delivering, freeing people from the chains that bind them through the power of the presence of His Spirit.

Thank you for posting! I've been curious to hear thoughts about it from church leaders. Our small Texas town just had umhb students leave to go join Kentucky revival ♡

We don't have to wait or beg God to "come down" or pour out His Spirit. He's already done that two thousand years ago on the day of Pentecost. And he promises eternal life from his Holy Spirit to anyone who will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. People are acting like God is reluctant to help or something. Those are wrong ways of thinking about God and salvation and how his Spirit works. I'm glad that people are praising and longing for God in these places, however, the right mindset needs to be taken. God works through people that he fills with his Holy Spirit, and he does that at salvation.

Yes, we’ve been suffering from a spiritual drought but 24 hour songfests aren’t quenching the thirst. Anybody remember “broken cisterns that’s can hold no water”, and just exactly what that is referring to? Does anyone even know what Book it comes from without resorting to a Concordance? Does anyone even know what a concords even is? We’re too busy singing sappy songs to notice that no one is “grieved at the ruin of Joseph”.

I'd personally like to see more sermons from Max. Whatever he is going through that's stopping him from preaching more, I hope it ceases to exist. Not many consistent preachers these days.

We need restoration not revival. The message is still the same, repent and be baptized (immersed) for the remission of sins - Acts 2:38 and be added to the Church of Christ Acts 2:47. Restore the New Testament pattern for salvation and the Church that Jesus died for.
