We are so fortunate to have the super hero monks and nuns who gave their lives to God and Guru and can then give us help in our own journey.

Thankful to Self Realization Fellowship. Thank you Brother Sevanandaji for this inspiring service. Master Paramahansa Yogananda and Daya Mata are deathless immortals beings one with God. It's a heart touching story that the devotee received a call from our beloved Daya Mata. Even though she was meditating in her room her Omnipresent consciousness knew passing of his wife. In the same way she is conscious of our lives also. We are not alone. So comforting are the words of Lord Krishna. May God and Guru bless us all. I first listened to this talk live in 2019 as a new student of SRF lessons and back then, I didn’t know how to answer Brother’s question, are we letting life’s circumstances control us? I listened to it again when it was recently released and my answer was a resounding no. A few weeks later, I listened to it again, and this time, the answer was a resounding yes. It seems to be a constant battle, and on this day, I was loosing that battle. Self-control, devotion and the techniques - all those I had. But, I realized that not reading the lessons was taking me away from Guru. Read, re-read and continue to read the lessons - it is just like Master going to his guru’s ashram and listening to him, meditating with him. Thank you Brother, thank you Guru.

Well, this was great timing. Some circumstances came up that were beyond my control as I was listening to this talk. I observed myself feeling ruffled, then all of Guruji's teachings kicked in. I purposely calmed myself, drawing my energy to my spine and brain and considered your three points: self-control, devotion, pranayama. I silently thanked the cause (person) who displayed the inconsiderate behavior that provided the circumstance to practice self-mastery. I was victorious. Guruji and Brother Sevananda and Daya Ma, thank you for this perfect timing of spiritual support! By the way, I'm 29, plus shipping and handling.

Please can Swami Sevananda ji give a talk on future super man and woman that Gurudev spoke about. Swami ji in this talk mentions about it that maybe in future he will talk about it.... Swami Vivekanand and Sri Aurobindo also wrote about future super men and women.... Or can someone please share where i can read about this in Paramahansa Yogananda writings.
