We just need to get through one more season, without points deductions we should be comfortably 10th-12th this season. Then once we're in the new ground we can start looking upwards! NSNO UTFT

Much depends on keeping Branthwaite to finish that high up. We still lack goals in midfield and the striking options are very very limited. I grew up with Everton have at least 2 or three strikers all getting 9 or 10 goals EACH and usually one main striker amongst those got 12 or 13. I don't see goals in Chermiti or Beto if I'm honest. We don't even know if DCL will still be here next season yet.

It seems things are beginning to feel brighter, more optimistic. The press are backing off because we are not news anymore. It’s been a bad time but hopefully we are improving all around the club. UTFT

I was really down last November when I realized Moshiri needed bridge loans to cover operating expenses. My take was that Everton the business was in such bad shape financially that they wont survive as a business even if we stay up and even if we finish mid table. In my line of work bridge loans like this from bottom feeders like 777 are very very bad indicators of business health. Getting relegated to me was likely the end of Everton. Then the points deduction. Was really not looking good. Yes play improved which was unbelievable but still no other buyers. Then we learn about exclusivity agreement with 777 and I thought holy shit the financials must be even worse than I thought for Moshiri to give 777 exclusivity. I really thought we are fucked. We arent. And thank god. Everton the business survives.

As a Villa fan Tim is very very raw. We played him away at Ajax in the conference league and he struggled massively in that game. He is 12-18 months away from being a premier league starter

Looking at Bove and Iroegbunam, these are young, high energy midfielders who can add to the experience of Gana and Doucoure. We should'nt accept less than £60m plus add ons for Branthwaite. I honestly think we will sell Onana before we sell Branthwaite.

Personally I wouldn't sell him for anything less than 100m, which he'll be worth next season having 2 seasons under his belt

How much has the Club estimated the new Stadium will make per match? I think at the moment, Goodison generates about £700k a match, so say we more than double that, to £1.5m. We'll make £28m (or £14 to £15m extra) a year, about £2.3m a month, minimum based on just 19 home league matches. That's one solid signing a year, or a good couple of contract extensions to keep our better players (on the basis, that the £1.5m is net profit, after costs, debt servicing of stadium etc).

If we add in revenue from concerts, events and a roughly USM sized naming rights deal, be another £20m to £25m extra, we'd be at at least £35m a year better off than we are now able to generate at Goodison (again minus any running costs, maintenance and so forth). That's either one solid mid to low table Premier League player or young youth prospect bargain. More positive though, is that would clear us of PSR (as it now stands) and allow us to tie down with improved contracts, 4 or 5 players of Branthwaite, Pickford, Onana or DCL calibre of player.

Surely you've got to be more optimistic. No doubt, the usual pessimists amongst our fan base will find something to moan about, they always do. In my opinion, Everton are about to make huge improvements over the next 18 months. UTFT!!
