Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in 2024 with the markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

Just ''buy and hold'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder

Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Terri Swayne” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive.She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Stocks extended their year-to-date rally following the CPI report, with the S&P 500 last up 0.8% in afternoon trading. but I don't know if stocks will quickly rebound, continue to pull back or move sideways for a few weeks, or if conditions will rapidly deteriorate.I am under pressure to grow my reserve of $250k.

There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

I hear you. Good report. I wonder if inflation is creating a risk off sentiment. Dollar devaluation. Money has to go somewhere.

Commercial real estate like the multi-family apartments will come for refinancing soon. Once they refinance at a higher rate, rents will starting going up and will show up in the CPI. So 4% inflation sounds reasonable.

Banks are preparing for a crash. PMI removal allowance has become very limited, and large banks in the US have significantly limited home equity lines of credit. I personally inquired this week on these points just to see.

Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions. which may reduce your dividend gains or income, speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers

Has anyone started combining these market ratios with crypto data? Ive always felt like i could see the future of stocks by watching btc. Not sure I agree on Tesla Tom. It closed below it's previous daily high close on May 21st and actually close below some the high wicks of other days prior. Expecting the gap to fill Friday and could get nasty if it doesn't bounce from there.

Yeah it is a bubble. It is freaking obvious. Why are in a bubble? Because the government is knee deep in debt and is near default so we enter hyperinflation. Stocks and gold are hedges against hyperinflation.
