Just came across your Podcast! USC is a Blue Blood! Thanks for mentioning that a few times! Now that USC is a BIG 10 Team could you look at there record against BIG Teams? You'll be very surprised! 11 National Championship 8 Heismans and all time Rose Bowl wins against BIG 10 teams to include Ohio St,Michigan! Now that USC is a BIG 10 team the record should reflect that! Glad you're revisiting your previous thoughts of USC record for 2024 season! Yes USC uniforms are one of best!

You left out Other hires Eric Henderson Matt Entz and Doug Belks

All you need to do is look at the Holiday Bowl. That was this team BEFORE they added their new defensive coordinator and staff. It was also the first time Moss took major snaps. The only issue here is they missed out on getting a really good big DT. You completely dont understand the offense. Moss will have better passer stats than Caleb last year because Moss gets the ball out fast and his receivers are much better this year than last. Top 3 offense. The offense will STRETCH defenses with Duce and Jacob. The national sports media complex is completely LOST regarding USC.

A lot of people talk about complementary offense, slowing it down and holding onto the football. This would be dumb for USC. The adjustment they should make is to create a high-risk defense. Grinch had a bend-dont-break philosophy, but it broke all the time. Lynn will run a defense that takes risks, counts on the secondary to make open field tackles and focuses on getting off the field through turn-overs and bringing pressure to the backfield. Riley is NOT going to play cautiously this year, he is going to run up scores on every team to send a message.

USC has the more national championships than any other team in Pac 10-12 history

Actually, it's not even close to any other PAC 8,10,or12 school. We even have more than all the big 10 schools. Yes that includes Ohio State and Michigan. You should all be happy to have another true blue blood in the league.

@@sonofrobert Yet, USC was the glue that made the Pac12 relevant. As a Michigan alum, I noticed when they left it got real for a lot of schools who said "USC isn't relevant". Your school probably took flat money to follow them to their new conference .

Amazing video my guy! You covered USC football better than 90% of our "podcasters" on youtube. Most of the youtubers that cover USC don't even know what they are talking about. Our offense last year with HTW CW hovered between 10 and 15. We are not a top 5 offense. PERIOD. We might be top 70 defense. 7-5 will be a dream season.

You're right: USC can't compete with the likes of northwestern, iowa, nebraska, minnesota, michigan state, maryland, indiana, rutgers, penn state, illinois, wisconsin and purdue. lol Big Ten people are so pompous. Whoregone will fit right in.

Funny how you conveniently omitted perennial 11 game winners & CFP finalists Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State as well as Oregon who only needs 5 plays to get 300+ yards of offense on us every time they play us. HTW CW aside, everything you list hasn't happened in the last 15 years. We STINK.

When Riley was leaving Norman, he told his coaches he would be at the airport if they wanted to join him. Grinch showed loyalty to Riley, and Riley returned the favor. That ship has now sailed! Today, USC will still have an elite offense and a much-improved defense with an elite secondary. The defensive bar was so low that it is easy to speculate that USC will be much improved. LSU vs USC will set the tone, and game #3 is Michigan. That will begin the Trojan War! 10-2 ✌️

We do have a tough schedule and Lynn had better d line talent at ucla. And it all starts up front. I have hope though.

Jaylin smith and Greedy Vance who came over from Florida state can both be extremely versatile nickels who can play the run and pass, especially Vance

Kind of hard to take you seriously when you are contemplating whether SC is a blue blood… 11 national championships, most Heismans, most PAC titles, most Rose Bowl wins, most overall No.1 picks, most NFL drafted, most NFL HOFers, winning record against the entire B1G, and most of their accolades within the modern era more or less, unlike a Michigan or Notre Dame. They aren’t as consistent a winner as Ohio State, but we have a winning record against them too. Also, don’t know how far the team gets this year but you can’t exactly say that Riley will never have a good defense. Almost every one of those years had Grinch as DC, which is on Riley but doesn’t mean he CANT have a good Defense. For the prob $7 million paid for this defensive staff with every position coach overqualified for the job, I’m thinking we finish top 10 this year in recruiting and make it to 10 wins without a Caleb Williams level talent at QB. The B1G better not sleep on the PAC additions… 3 yards and a cloud of dust aren’t going to be enough to win anymore.

C’mon y’all let’s keep it real, very few programs can survive what USC has. With the sanctions loss of scholarships and the what 4 head coaches in 5 years. Another thing is if you Are a real SC die hard. You know that USC has always done well against big 10 opponents. In the event we can beat LSU then 11-1 if not then 10-2 and playoff bound. Being loyal to a best friend has its place. Now keeping it real, when players openly admit they don’t go to film sessions then it’s on your assistant coaches The defensive coaches were garbage trash which is why they are all gone except the samoan Coach

USC once upon the time was a real contender. Nowadays they are a middle of the pack Big 10 program with 0% chance to come even close to compete for a Big 10 Title. Riley may be the best OC in all NCAA but as HC i give him a C at best. No defense since he walked into Norman. Remember that 2019 LSU game. If Burrow dont miss 3-4 easy targets they score 100 points on Oklahoma. And at USC he has 50% of the talent OU had, a half empty empty stadium, no fans at all and it will not get better when you lose 4-5 games on regular bases. Do you really believe USC has a better chance as Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon and Penn State to make it to the playoffs ?

Alex Grinch IS the worst DC of all time. He certainly took a talented roster, made them look confused 95% of the time and fielded two of the worst rated defenses in USC history and they STILL did not have a losing season either year.

Last years schedule was way harder than this upcoming season. 10-2, book it. It's almost as if everyone missed the bowl game against a full Louisville team.. But yes to Alex Grinch being the worst coordinator ever. Absolutely ridiculous schemes.
