The team has had problems hitting for almost two years now .. why have they not changed their hitting approach? I mean changed the entire hitting coaches? With respect to Schneider making ridiculous comments… how can you expect anything different when Atkins continues to say that this team will turn it around ? He has been saying this garbage for a while. Until they remove Atkins and company and Schneider this team will not win. I don’t trust Atkins to retool this team he has contributed most of the damage due to his lack of action!

Hate to break it to you, but no matter who the Jays get on their team, it won’t change anything. The Blue Jays have bad management and bad coaching. That’s the primary reason for the failures. And I guarantee you that if Bo or Vladdy went to, say, the Yankees, Braves, Phillies or Dodgers, they would become elite hitters. Why? Because those teams have good managers and good coaches. You could bring anyone in the MLB to the Jays and I guarantee you they would eventually stop doing well. This isn’t rocket science. The longer clowns like Atkins and Schneider stick around, the longer it will take for the Jays to become a good team. So before we sell away people, the Blue Jays need to start firing people like Schneider, Martinez and Atkins. There is no other way.

Replace front office and entire coaching staff then re evaluate. Don't blow up this team while the current incompetent management team is still making decisions!

The Jays FO is probably kicking a few tires out there, to see what might be available. Nobody likes selling "low", as they would be with Bo and Vlad, but that's the reality. A trade partner would need deep pockets, as both players will need new contracts soon. So, if a smaller market team is interested, they won't want to pony up a lot of prospects for an underperforming star for a year and a half. Tough spot to be in. The best solution is for both players to get it in gear............

Look at the 92/93 WS Jays roster ... We had Molitor, Henderson, Winfield, Carter, Alomar, White, Olerud, Borders, etc. Hall of Famers! Who has Atkins/Shapiro got? SCRUBS! NO NAMES! And naturally ... LAST PLACE!!!

Atkins will sell, but he will make terrible deals for players that will not work. Atkins is incompetent and the team will not win until both him and Shapiro are long gone. I am getting to the age where I believe the Jays will not see another world series in my lifetime.

Atkins knows Toronto fans aren't sophisticated in baseball ... so he fills the roster with scrubs! Fans flock not knowing any better. Jays make money ... Atkins keeps his job.

If Vlad and Bo are traded away I will no longer watch baseball, the loss of Teo, Gurriel and Moreno were too much already.

I hope they both go by deadline and beef up the farm with prospects This core isn’t going to win championships The dog and pony show can roll right outta town , bring in some mature prof players to replace If the jays were going to extend them would have happened by now
