I watched another video where they had the same problem you mentioned, the back of the boot pushing in and rubbing against their calf. That seems to be a design issue Muck Boots should try to correct. Thanks for the review, it was very helpful as I am considering buying a pair. Take care, Joe

It’s a good feeling when you find a pair of boots that works. But that’s rare for me.

I'm on my second pair of mucks I think the pair I have now are field blazers they're kind of a medium insulated... Maybe they're not real super insulated I wear them bow hunting and rifle hunting also wear them around the farm here in Kentucky. I've had them five years, I bought them when I was up in Newhampshire for a job. I wore them deer hunting and just walking around in the snow , snow blowing everything never had a bit of trouble with them like I said I've had them 5 years always wear wool socks in them even in the summer if you're going to wear them wear lightweight wool socks never wear cotton socks and muck Boots. I've got at least 5 years on mine and it's about time to replace them the soles are starting to get kind of raggedy lookin they're not leaking yet. If it's really cold I suggest the Arctic pros or the arctics which is what I'm going to buy next cuz I wear them so much deer hunting.

Hisea boots. Half the price and awesome quality and fit

I had bought a pair of mucks and wore them twice and water got in somehow. Brought them back got my$100 back went to wallys got a $30 pair and have no problems. The mucks were more comfortable but if water gets in that’s less comfortable. So the cheap boots are better

Were you wearing cotton or wool socks cuz if you wear cotton socks in muck Boots they will fill up with water from the sweat from your own feet

Dry, warm feet are happy feet
