Can we talk about how glowy/glassy skin doesn’t always look great after age 25? I’m in my mid-30s, battling fine lines and hyperpigmentation as we “elder millennials” now do. Glowy products exacerbate what I’m trying to hide. Shine a spotlight on melasma? No. Let the glowy/radiant products go viral and sell out. Leaves more satin/natural finish products for the rest of us 😉

Kackie, retinol purges are not a thing. A retinol break out is due to using too strong a product too often and messing up the skin barrier. Its why pros says (or restart) start low and slow. 💚🌻

I have a mini Rare liquid blush, I’ve had it over a year, use it regularly and there’s still so much product left.

I used up my cloud set but didn’t repurchase it for the fact that it immediately hard panned the first time I used it. It continued to do that the entire time I had it and I had to keep scraping it so it just became more of hassle than it was worth. I wish they’d have a similar formula in a loose powder but with a delivery system like haus labs

i love the lithium shade on my skin tone! i find that the warm base lets it appear more seamless with my undertones, where other cooler-gunmetal shimmers & glitters can look too stark or unwelcome.

kackie! i meant to recommend this a few videos back when you were talking about your hair. oribe maximista! (and gel serum based on the gel you mentioned in this video) i worked in a salon that used oribe, under an oribe educator, and i’ve just been wanting to give you a blow out so bad just to see if there’s a difference 😂 but basically we would tell people it was kinda like umbrellas opening and giving that lift throughout the hair. on everyone i’d use foundation mist (run-through on v thick, curly, or tangle-prone) as my base/hair prep product, which i also recommend. but if anyone had particularly thin/fine hair i would use some maximista and do the whole blowout with my hands. (lift and dry roots with fingers, smooth and shape lengths and ends with palms. the heat and tension of a brush or additional hot tools can be counterproductive sometimes, ya know? i’d also throw out a rec for featherbalm if you’re in need of another styling product.

I bought the Nars radiant, creamy concealer when I was looking for something to help cover my cystic acne. Found my perfect shade & LOVED it!!! The only two concealers in my routine are Nars & Hourglass. That Nars concealer is soooo good. Thank you for fixing your earring btw, that was driving me a bit nuts.

I have warm greeny hazel eyes, with an amber rusty ring around the pupil, and a teal-ish ring around the outside, so my eyes are changeable, depending on light, clothing, and makeup. Lithium might just work on me❤❤

I agree on the DMB for coverage and price over the Hourglass, but I’m still a big fan of mixing a mere dab of Vision Cover Foundation with a teensy bit of liquid highlighter and lots of her “dry” beauty oil. Works so well on my “mature” dry skin and stays in place better than anything else while looking SO skin-like. Try it! The CT “high blush” looks great on you with Rare’s Worth and the Rosy Glow btw!!! Truly sun-kissed!!!

Of these Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadows, Solstice is really my jam. It's one of those that is a brownie base that shifts blue. One can probably can find a much better version of it in indie brand formula though. XD
