@Saltyscales few keeper trout. And that was it. Chased Bonita and Spanish up and down the pier and never got anything to stay hooked. Definitely a boat or kayak day. Should have brought the yak with me

I have had the Primo’s for about 4 years and mine came with belt clip. I actually ordered the belt loop only case from Danco. Very high quality

Excellent review. And good point with the belt clip... I bought a bunch of new shorts I plan on wearing on a future fishing trip and they dont have belt loops for my danco sheath...

I ordered the gomexus today after a few day’s research as I like the fact even the inside is titanium 😍 and like Danco they are made in China unless you want to spend $300 plus on the USA Danco’s 😱😢

Joshua, take the clip off the back of a measuring tape buy Chicago screws (leather screws) attach clip to back of pliers case.

🌴 I’ll go with the cheapest brand, usually get em at Wally World, I’ve had mine a couple of years already so I’ve got my money’s worth a couple times over, keep em cleaned and oiled they will be fine , or to say they’ll do in a pinch 👈🏻🤣

You forgot about the Donnmar titanium pliers.

Van Staal hands down. I have no experience with the gomexus but I’m not a fan of the split ring on the end of the jaws. The premio are nice for the money but I have several friends with them and I have seen rust from the hinge and the cutters being dull in less than a year of use. My VS I’ve had forever and they never get rinsed and are still as perfect as they were brand new and the cutters still very sharp.

@@Saltyscales the point is that in well over a decade my VS as well as many others I know with the VS have never been rinsed off or serviced and work perfectly with zero issues while I’ve seen premio’s get rust in the hinge in a matter of months. One is not like the other, they are nice pliers but one is not like the other. The VS are a pretty penny but worth every bit of it as long as you don’t drop them overboard. My guess is the grade of stainless the hinge is made from is of a different grade
