If OU can win their first two SEC games Tennessee at home Auburn on the road I will be playoff hopeful

Jackson and Stone dont need starts. They just need snaps in year 1. I expect their contributions will be greatly appreciated.

For sure. I don't think either starts, but I do think they are at least rotational players and will make an impact.

The whole year depends on how well the o line blocks can OU run the ball can the o line pass protect can OU get a short yardage runs The game if football is a line of scrimmage game OU fans know this i hope Coach B you have been here the longest is your unit up to par

When the odds are against us, when the future seems rèally dark to some, is when SOONER MAGIC rescues the Sooners from the teeth of defeat. It is the mindset of belief of overcoming all situations. Just ask Texas about Sooner Magic in 2 out of the last 3 years in the RedRiver Shootout. Or the OU softball team winning the Last Big 12 championship and the National Champion where the women had to go through Texas to win both championships.

Yes it’s been a long time since OU went undefeated. And they probably will not this year. But the last time they did, nobody thought they would go undefeated. BOOMER

History is a very small equation when determining a teams future success, but looking at OU's record vs the SEC prior to their entry into the league OU is 13/2 going back to 2018. Now that we are in the league why should expectations not remain high? OU is damn sure bigger, faster, and stronger than they have been in the recent past. Going into 24 I have 3 "?" Not loses "?". texas, Alabama, and LSU. BOOMER.

In that specific time frame '18 to '23 uo has not faced ONE SEC opponent in regular season and are 1-2 in bowl games VS SEC. Where did you get that 13/2 record from???

The auburn side is pretty confident also. Arnold’s first sec road test being at auburn is gonna be tough to overcome. We’ve also heard about the o line issues all summer and we’ve done nothing but sure up our d line. I imagine it being a pretty low scoring game. Taking the under

@@jacksonrhodes25where is the O-Line issues? OU loaded up in the portal with plenty of senior or junior talent. I will agree the Arnold is a wildcard rn. Could be really good or bad. Auburn needs to be mostly worried about OU’s d-line and linebackers.

Having 5 o line men who haven’t ever played a down together isn’t the ideal situation to come into the sec with. Idk if they’ll be good or bad. Just a big question mark from an outsiders perspective. Our o line returns 4 starters and our left tackle was a starter at miss state so no issues there

Click bait question. Any Coach or staff, or team, that goes into a season thinking they are losers, will be. Having a calm belief in self, and determination to make it happen, and putting in max effort to accomplish it, is how champions play. The games will happen, and adversity will be in play, and some things will be out of your hands, but the goal and the belief do not change. Fans and talking heads thoughts, and beliefs, and so on are meaningless. They do not play the games.

Boy you're drunk on OU Kool Aid. For OU to win 10 or 11 games EVERYTHING has to fall your way this season. JA is a star, the OL is great, One of those RBs becomes a star, other teams that you play sustain injuries that makes that schedule not as tough. If you're depending on freshman to be elite in the first year in the SEC then you've already answered your own question. 8 wins is great season for OU this year. 9-11 wins means alot of thing went your way this year. I get being optimistic, but what you're saying is homerism. Change the logo and you definitely wouldn't be saying this is 10-11 win team with the questions you have and also going in the first year of the SEC.
