SharePoint is an Intranet platform that can store documents. Typically an intranet is composed of multiple shared spaces known as department sites.
Although documents can be stored within SharePoint they are typically published versions of documents everyone can access.
OneDrive is for personal document storage. Although you can share documents from Microsoft OneDrive.
You should store drafts and documents only you are working on in Microsoft OneDrive. This is because you have up to 1TB of document storage space per user within OneDrive.
You cannot reallocate OneDrive storage space to another user. Nor can you reallocate the storage space to SharePoint or a Microsoft Teams site.
