Ойын-сауық
Welcome (◔◡◔)
Today we are talking about the possible future of a world where tattooing turns... Robotic ! There are a few different tattoo robot machines that have been developed recently and one is even trying to go to market - this may be an option in the future! Would you get tattooed by a robot?

🤖IT's interesting because it seemss like a major divide today is people that are uneducated about tattooing and what it entails and artists that get mad about that becasue its their art and its special to them. This seems like its a good option for people that just want a tattoo because they want a tattoo and arn't concerned with the artistry behind it. This also seems like it would be way cheaper and maybe its a good option for a shop to have both options for both types of people seeking a tattoo. Maybe it woud be good for friday that 13th tattooing as well.

Great points! I didn’t think about the price like that 🙌

also maybe it would open the career up to people who are good artists but have back or repetitive stress injuries so they could continue working and giving beautiful tattoos. You'd still want a true artist to design your tattoo to wrap around your muscles and curves in a flattering way and the art itself is sill important even if a robotic arm is actually sticking the needle in

@@beingvenus ai will generate the tattoo images and robots will tattoo them
to be honest, the whole experience of getting tattooed involves so much human connection. it’s what makes each tattoo individual and special. you could bring the same subject and the same style and ideas to two artists and have completely different experiences and outcomes. and that’s where the beauty and the art lie. i agree! i hope human tattooing is always around. 🥰🤖

No it does not kill that bull shit. lol
It does make me a bit afraid of my future, but i really think that the experience of getting tattoos is irreplaceable. Some people just want a small star or whatever, but there is something special about artists flash sheets and understanding why do they do those kind of flashes. I insist, bit afraid, but i hope the client-artist connection is never lost. Love your videos btw. Greetings from chile
I don t think tattoo artists that studied really hard tattooing will lose their job because of that machine. First of all, we don t know how igenic and expensive this machines are, and second, this machines tattoos have no soul, they are just designs. It seems to me that the people studying these machines aren' t really into tattooing. Maybe I am wrong, but people still today gets tattoos done by hand without electricity involved, tattoos nowdays are First of all an experiece between two people (the tattooer and the client). Also a tattooer can stop and correct things of something go wrong, with these machines, of something go wrong, you fuck up a person s skin for life. Maybe i m just an old fashioned guy, but tattooing Is like going to a barber, Is not just about the final tattoo, Is also about the journey!
your content is so awesome - no one is talking about this! bravo :) 🤖

Loving these videos bro ! Keep them up
Perfect for social distancing while tattooing during a pandemic.
I looked up the healed tattoo in her instagram and it’s terribly scarred. Just as I expected and as people in comments already said, the process of tattooing is so complicated and precise that it’s hardly believable that in the nearest future the robot will make good tattoo that heals good. And when such robots start doing good tattoos, they will be expensive. I don’t believe that in the nearest future such robots go to masses and replace artists.
🤖 such an interesting topic ! it's the first time i've heard of this. maybe a perfect geometric piece by a robot would be something interesting (and satisfying) to see or have done ! super cool videos as always youre gonna make ito 1k in no time ;)
Great video , the whole tattoo robatic machine remind me of starship troopers the movie In the early 2000 🤖
🤖 honestly... as an artist, I really dislike seeing things like this and AI art because.. how is it art if we almost entirely remove the human aspect? It makes me think; why can't we focus our energy on progressing other things? I believe it's a commercial influence, that we focus our energy on things we think will make money, but damn. It just makes me really upset. The first one is cool though! Basically an option for someone who can't come to a tattoo shop or be seen by an artist and there's still a person behind the machine. I liked that.
I think there will be people that would like to be tattooed by a machine just for the novelty of being able to say they did it but personally I'd rather be able to go to an actual person and be able to communicate what exactly I'd like to get
I wonder if a machine would be able to complete multiple lines simultaneously since it wouldn’t need to see or have room for hands. If the machine had a full sheet of needles and was programmed to only use the selected ones a tattoo outline could be finished in a fraction of the time, almost working like a stamp. I think it’s a little far fetched from what’s been accomplished so far, but if the skin could be stretched and the needles could be in close proximity it might work for simple tattoos 🤖

Yeah that’s a really interesting idea!
Kind of mindblowing 🤖. I'm not all about having meanings for tattoos (your body your choice) but I can't ignore the fact that being tattooed by a machine is kind of...cold ? I mean, it's a permanent design on your skin, it's not like doing your groceries lol. Also, I Iove the idea of having a piece of art on you, and it's definitely more "organic/true/raw" to have some human contact while doing it...idk ?¿

its a bit cool though for some tattoos, like i would want a small one completly made by a robot, even made with artificial inteligence design
I really enjoy your videos 🤖🤖🤖❤️
🤖 Stijn says she’s into surfing and hiking and would love a design with waves and mountains. So yes, I’d say it represents a wave in front of a mountain range.
i would consider it, but only because im an artist, and i like designing my own stuff, so knowing it would be copied perfectly is appealing to me. i'm actually getting ready to get my first tattoo soon and having the artwork i designed be done accurately is important to me. 🤖
As a CNC machinist, this piques my interest but I have to say I do not think this is viable or the future. CNC machining is programming a machine (or robot) to cut parts, usually metal. Even when the part is precisely measured and secured in a machine, there is still such a high degree of accuracy needed for the tool to touch and cut the part. Even with an arm strapped down like this, there will still be a lot of inaccuracy of the tattoo machine touching the skin. The fact that this is done wirelessly is even more concerning, but it did not turn out horribly. This also shows that robot tattooing still requires human input and requires a very high level of accuracy. To me this is something that should probably not be seen as a good way to progress tattooing because it doesnt save time or money. That's the only reason why robotics and computer controlled machinery exists.
I would love to try getting a tattoo done by a robot to experience what it's like, but the human connection and ritual in 'traditional' tattooing is what keeps me coming back and getting inked again and again. I highly doubt human tattooers will get replaced
I'm all for it. Tattoo machines working similar to printers where you could feed it image files would be really cool. I get why people wouldn't like to be tattooed by a machine, but I'd be down for it. You'd still have to have an artist design the image.
great video! wasn't even aware about this. I am currently working on becoming a full time tattoo artist and stuff like this is really interesting. tbh I did not quite like the robotic tattoos. Lines seemed wonky and the depth varies too much for my taste but it's also like just the beginning of these technologies. I hope cyborgs will become a thing so I can compete with robots in the future lol
Looks like the Colorado trail symbol with a pond in front of it.
I would 100% get this (once the kinks were ironed out and it had been around for awhile. One of my biggest issues (going to legitimate artists not back alleys) has been creeps and pushy artists who insist on doing things I am uncomfortable with. A robot takes out that issue.
I love your videos
I think I'm in love with a channel
I love the idea of getting tattooed over 5G by a talented artist who lives far away, but I'd never get a tattoo from a standalone machine 🤖
I would maybe get one, just as a novelty. To say I did it. 🤖
🤖 love your videos!

Thank you 🤗
Here's the dystopian suggestion: use a tattooing robot to inscribe a QR code or similar to indicate something (e.g. vaccination status or military serial number) so that people don't have to carry proof of that thing around with them. Because I'm not a fan of totalitarianism, I would combine that sort of a tattoo with the ink that fades in a year to 18 months. (Possibly someone could work on different inks that take different amounts of time to fade completely.) In the event that someone decided to go down that path I would hope that they would also aim at a good looking tattoo. This sort of a tattoo would also need to be applied to a fairly standard location, as noted, skin thickness varies on different parts of the body. I had actually considered the possibility of such a machine using something like the technology in the Metal Storm (obviously with a LOT of adaptations!).
i will!!!!
🤖 interesting video
I think for tattoo enthusiasts this won't be a thing, personally I don't want my tattoos to be perfectly precise. I like that a tattoo artists' work has an aura. However for the average tattoo client who just wants a certain image or word here and there and aren't really into the culture it'd probs be a hit.
Art has to have heart
🤖❤️🤖
🤖For me it's risky and I also like the experience with the artist, the creative process, the chatting some times, etc. Idk, I guess I also enjoy the human part of it, the connection.
I get it when no one would recognize superman as Clark Kent without the glasses

🤖 Without a doubt.. I would take a geometric tattoo from such robot !
🤖 Too spooky I cant. I'm a strong introvert and I'd still rather have a stranger tattoo me :)
Haiii friend 👍👍 #indonesia
A tattoo vending machine.
ya know, for 5 lines and a curve.. its maybe a step up from a jailhouse tat. Im not just saying that from the simplicity of it, but the lines suck.
7:00 the tattoo design is an intellectual property of the author. So the artist who created the design owns the exclusive rights for the design. In other words, if the client comes to the shop that owns this robot and asks them to tattoo MY design, they should reject. Otherwise I can sue them. This brings another question - if the shop owns the robot, someone still has to create designs. They can purchase designs from different freelance artists, so they have to pay for the robot, which obviously will cost more than modern days tattoo machine and they have to pay to the artists for the sketches. Is it worth it? Is it more interesting than drawing your own sketches and then manually turning them into tattoos? To me all this robotic tattoos look like not the best business idea))) I don’t think there will be high demand for them.
🤖🤖🤖
As long as they are only used for infinity symbols and bird silouttes, so tired of doing those tatt 😂
Interesting stuff thanks for the info! You are really cute by the way!
I’ll never get a tattoo by a robot, I hate technology 😅
🤖 I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks gettin a tattoo from a "soulless" robot would be nice. as someone who's always liked the idea of AI n robots I think it still would hold some meaning, bc hours upon days n months n years went into the research n development of the machine n that's rlly neat too,,love that. but I'd definitely get somethin simple by a robot n a full piece by an artist I love n want to support. as an apprentice this only lowkey scares me, but ofc the artistry of tattooing will never die n by the time these become mainstream hopefully I will have a good group of people that come to me bc they like my work n how I do it ( ᵕ◡ᵕ ) jus joined in subscribing, thought I had w the microrealism video but alas here we are. keep it up buttercup !💕
I think robots can do better than alot of humans
Is no job safe from robots?! I think I’ll stick to a human!
🤖
I have build a tattoo robot in about 6 weeks, and result was not really usefull, haha Got a video on that on my channel
You are so cute 😅🙈
I hope not l love my job
No.
7:45 so it stops every time the client is moving?? 😂 this is nonsense. The artist stretches the skin of a client and therefore it doesn’t matter if the client is moving, because the exact part of skin which the artist is stretching, is not moving anyway. And if the robot is stopping every time the client is moving… how long will it take to finish the tattoo? 😂 what if it is making a tattoo on an elbow and the client is in extreme pain, crying and asking to stop every other 30 seconds? 😂 Okay I don’t believe in this robotic machines. Those guys who are creating this tattoo robots most likely dont have enough experience as tattoo artists 😂
🤖 SUPER INTERESTING! I WOULD NEVER WANT TO LOSE THE HUMAN CONTACT OF GETTING A TATTOO. IT IS SO PERSONAL AND ARTISTS WOULD BE LIMITED BY HAVING ALREADY CHOSEN A DESIGN AND NOT BEING ABLE TO CHANGE PART OF THE WAY THROUGH. IT COULD HALT THE CREATIVE FLOW THAT HAPPENS FROM BEGINNING TO END IN A TATTOO. THE ONLY WAY I THINK I WOULD EVER USE A MACHINE IS IF THE WORLD CAME TO A POINT WHERE IT WAS THE ONLY OPTION TO GET A TATTOO
Lets just get real sooner or later the Tatoo Artis, will be A thing of the past sooner or later so kill it with all that human connection shit. lol
