Let Haaland be Haaland, ignore it until you play him. Nunez just needs to find his identity at Liverpool and not try to model his career off of an existing player near his age. He’ll drive himself crazy if he tries to be Haaland.

To be fair, Darwin’s pace is phenomenal and he is able to create a lot of chances, but it seems like once those chances come, he tends to panic and overthinks his shot, causing a lot of misses. Once he gets to be more clinical in front of goal, he’ll be nearly unstoppable.

When media started to compare him to Haaland i knew he will struggle. Not every signing is a generational player like Haaland.

Absolutely but like Henry said 'he needs to play week in week out' that's on Klopp to sort his head out and stop with this fetish of playing Gakpo all the time. Gakpo is good, however not good enough to start ahead of Nunez or Jota as the central striker.

@@Andre-hm5vo Exactly💯. Gakpo has something over Klopp. Yes,he was part of our best team in the last 10 matches last season but the shackles were off then. Nunez actually has similiar link up play too to him. His touch isn't as good but he is a lot faster on the turn and has better agility. He actually set up so many goals for Salah last season.

The guy is so talented, he has everything from technique to physicality. You can always feel a difference when he is on the pitch. Just lacks that mental composure in front of goal. Reminds me of Carlos Tevez a lot who also used to be a tireless menace on the pitch as well.

He's getting better and better, but still needs to be more clinical. He does lots of good things: runs a lot, puts constant pressure on opponents, makes good runs and has an eye for his teammates. I genuinely believe he can be world class if his finishing is constantly good.

That’s the thing it’s not the starting position that’s the issue because we all know and he knows that klopp is giving him his time and isn’t pressuring with the mention of his spot being taken. Honestly I never felt Nunez was a flop or even a bad signing... He really impressed me I'd rate him like Diaz and would gladly take a signing at such caliber at Arsenal even as a gunner when we're doing so well rn. Liverpool really needs to sort out their midfield and defence right now to actually make the whole system link. It's basically long balls and hoping the front three go behind the defenders whilst the defenders drop a mistake these days. Their defense have been jaw dropping too....Only Robbo still has the passion to drop back after going forward.

I think the comparisons of Haaland, the pressure of being at big clubs, and needing to score, it's not fair, but it's football. With the high price, there comes expectations to be great. He will either start scoring goals or just stop being picked until they loan him out.

You don't see grealish and sancho flops news everywhere, maguire, aaron wan bissaka, kane how many goal he achieve on half this season. That because they are english, why they picked nunez like that, nubez is not flop, he is fine baller, he just need a little bit time to settle in new country, new environment, new language.

For Uruguay he plays well.

To me, he reminds me of Werner a lot. But with Salah in the team, he won't always have the pressure to score. Liverpool will give him a couple of seasons unlike Chelsea.
