A Merry Christmas to everybody! And a happy New Year to all the world!
Really appreciate you showing us all the great decorated doorways! Don't worry about the 4k issue and go with the flow of jolly you always express! 😃❤
Absolutely wonderful, Hannah! Thank you for braving the cold to share this with us. The decorations in Covent Garden and along the way to Trafalgar Square were a treat. The markets in London are much better than the few that are here (Atlanta, Georgia area). Happy Christmas to you, Hannah and to all here in the comments! See you on Friday!

Ontario for me. Last week (in January) it was -14F, wind chill of -24F.
Your banter is so witty it makes the video, happy Christmas!!🎄🎄✨
London doesn't have the best Christmas in Europe, but it has your charming smile, which can be better than the best Christmas.
15 years ago I started learning Bulgarian online as I wanted to visit the Black Sea Coast, and the food is like Turkish Cuisine. I learnt the basics, "Hello, how are you? My name is, Thank you, Bye!" Then fell and broke my shoulder so stayed home in agony. ☹️ Wish you better luck! 💗
Always great to do a tour with Hannah from the comfort of home with a coffee, especially as I cannot walk that far now, and the commentary adds to it all
The days of 2023 & Hannah's Vlogs are dwindling down to a precious few--Thanks for sharing the Market Walkabouts--the weather could've been better! I agree with Hannah--themarkets are a bit underwhelming! But Hannah's shiney personality saved the day--& made this vlog a fun experience. ❤😊
Covent Garden, decorated with those ✨GORGEOUS✨ gold and red ribboned bells 🔔🎀(set against a green frame background) was stand out for me! 💖 Thank you Hannah, for braving both the crowds and the cold 🌬️❄ for your vlog 🌟
Merry Christmas 😊 It is currently only -1°C here in Finland, but couple weeks back it was -19 °C. It is not unusual to go as far as -25 - -30 °C at this time. Once I experienced -45 °C in the north. So we are good for now 😂.

Go to Grand Central in NYC. I did most of my Xmas shopping in an hour and a half. A truly curated market.
Hi Hannah!! Love your videos!! I’m a Filipina Londoner (moved to London for work many years ago) and I have so many recommendations in Chinatown! 1. Mamason’s- Filipino ice cream place! Amazing if you’re looking for great ice cream. They specialise in Ube ice cream. Ube is a native rootcrop in the Philippines and it’s like sweet potato but better! 2. Tsujiri- If you love matcha, you’d love this place! They have matcha ice cream, matcha cakes, crepe cakes, every thing matcha. Tip: try the soft serve matcha. It’s to die for. 3. Tao Tao Ju- my most favourite restaurant in town. Dimsums are great here and best when celebrating so you can share everything! Try their congee on a cold winter day! GREAT FOOD BUT AWFUL SERVICE (as all good Chinese restaurants usually are 😅) 4. Kung Fu Noodle- great braised beef hand-pulled noodles. No fuss, simple soup! Amazing for winter. And they have cold noodles that will be refreshing for summer! 5. Sakurado- gorgeous Japanese baked goods! Mille crepe cakes, fluffy sponge cakes, cutest yuzu cookies. Everything is great!! On a hot summer day, have the bingsu. It’s shaved ice dessert perfect for cooling down. Can have lots of toppings on it too! Have an amazing Christmas!! ❤

What a thorough and well considered review of the area and your English is superb. I always find the cultural difference between Chinese and Japanese service really strange. The latter cannot do enough for you, and the former treat you as an encumbrance. When I visted Japan in April and saw the number of Chinese tourists I did wonder what they made of it.

Hannah, the best part of the Royal Opera house is the rooftop lounge bar! Apparently it’s open outside of performances too! Not sure if it’s only for summer but check it out
And to answer your question regarding the cold: in Ontario, they have more and more cold weather warnings. Meaning temperatures below minus 40 degrees Celsius. If you intend to walk around outside in those temperatures, you need a special coat with fleece and membranes inside to protect you from the wind. And underneath the coat, I recommend Uniqlo heat tech clothing. Then you can walk around and take photos. You will still have a red, running nose after a long walk, but that'll be all.
I'm in Springfield, IL. Temp is currently 0 C but we will see a week or two around -20 C over the winter.😊
Wow is right for the giant Xmas bells @ the Apple Market! Yes, we can see the beautiful flickering glittering lights, so pretty. BTW, -2 for us in Phx, AZ is freezing. Once it hits 75° we’re dressed just like you are now 😊🥶. Merry Christmas 🎄
I am a teenager living in New York thanks to my dad. After watching this video, I decided to spend Christmas in London this year. And I want to live in London someday.
Beautiful Christmas decorations and thanks for showing us Americans how amazing London looks like during Christmas. Thank you Hannah..
I live in the Caribbean. It gets down to 26 Celsius, and I'm freezing.
I love Christmas markets, so fun to watch.
Standing in a queue for an M&Ms store or Lego store to me is like being from a different planet. Thank you for showing us the Christmas markets, I'm not a person who likes crowds so this is probably as close as I will get to any of them. Some mulled wine would be nice though!

Merry Christmas Hannah! Your vlogs always put me in the Christmas spirit so thank you!! X
Here in Cambodia there are government weather warnings when the temperature drops below 20 degrees, so yes, -3 is definitely cold! ❄️☃️
First, 26F is COLD! Second, you are beautiful, so no need to worry about filming in 4k! 😂. Always look forward to your vlogs. Love your humor. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
Seems the Europeans go to London to experience some London Christmas Magic, and the Brits go to NYC! I was there last weekend to enjoy all the festivities, as I only live 7 hours north, and there were British couples and families everywhere! Even in my hotel elevator! I was just remarking to my friend who came with me, that there were lots of British people in the city and the 2 people in our elevator laughed and said "You've got 2 of them here!" Lots of Christmas Cheer all around. Merry Christmas Hannah! I've really enjoyed all of your holiday vlogs and keep filming in 4k. You look gorgeous.
Omg it feels like I am in some fantasy Disney story, so magical 🎄🎈 the decorations are unbelievably beautiful 😍🥹✨ Thanks for sharing Hannah 🧡🤍💜🫶🏼
Hello from Alberta, Canada! We got minus 38 Celsius last year plus wind chill.... which makes it feel even colder. Brrr!
This was so enjoyable Hannah. I live in a sleepy town - so nothing like that here. I went to Pasadena, CA on Saturday. They don't have a Christmas market that I am aware of. BUT they have this wonderful almost mile long Christmas Tree Lane (even with a plaque) that people drive through. There are these cedar trees that line the street and volunteers string colorful lights on them - it is beautiful and very comforting - like have a blanket of lights over you. And of course some of the houses along the road have their homes and lawns all done up in Christmas. I am originally from Chicago. Every year downtown they have a German Christmas market. Does London? Have a Happy Christmas Hannah 🎄 and wonderful New Year! 🍾
Thank you for taking me back to my teenage years when I used to hang out in Covent Garden 👏👏. Have to agree about the over-pricing 😥. Have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for all your hard efforts in bringing a true view of London to us ❤️❤️
Merry Christmas everyone. It can get to -20 Celsius here in Wisconsin, USA in January That’s proper cold weather 🥶
Thx Hannah & what an effort you made to brave the weather to share this vlog of the different London Markets during the Christmas season! I agree with you that the market areas are enjoyable to see, with all the different food options, as well as shopping variety! It is also nice to see the additional Christmas decorations everywhere in London....very nice indeed! Thx again Hannah for all your efforts to add a vlog twice a week during the Christmas season! I always look forward to your vlogs, & especially this time of year! Merry Christmas Hannah & be safe!!!
Next year? More shopping, please! And eating! Just keep doing what you’re doing - we love it! Much appreciated, as an ex-Londoner now living in the Caribbean! 🏝️
I enjoyed the tour of crowded markets, the decor and a peek at the variety of food together with your colourful commentary. Thank you for sharing. 💕🇨🇦🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 🎉 to all. May you stay safe, well and get lots from Santa 🎅 this year !
You're slaying it, Hannah! Well done with Christmas in London 2023! ❤
Hey there Hannah! Thank you as always for venturing out to show the holiday markets! It really was so Cold there! We had a Cold front come through last night, it's only 47 right now, here in Savannah GA. Our typical temp in late Fall into Winter is: 55-67 F. It's quite cold out there, but I enjoy chilly- cold temps, as during the Summers it's just too Hot! The cold weather drives the biting bugs away, which is a huge plus! I know to some, in other areas....this wouldn't be cold for them but in the South -- it IS!⛄❄ We've had warm Winters where it's been in the 70ties, which feels so unnatural to me. Have a Merry Christmas!🎄💝🎅🎁
beautiful and beautiful Christmas decorations and thank you for showing us how incredible London is during the beautiful Christmas. thank you hanna
I agree Hannah, the markets look just ok. The believe the markets in Germany and in Alsace and Colmar are probably representative of the ideal Christmas Markets. But fun anyway. Thank you for showing us. I absolutely love all your tours and can't wait for Friday! jannie
It is actually colder there than it is here in south Ontario, Canada. Today is -1. I love the extent London goes for Christmas decorations. Wonderful. Thanks for taking us.

London seems to have one of the best Christmas vibes. 😊
I love Christmas Markets. These looked awesome to me, much better than the ones in the US which tend to be small and very expensive. Thank you for braving the crowds Hannah!

Beautiful Christmas decorations 🎄as everything is beautifully lit 💫but with so many people the cozy Christmas feeling can no longer be found🤯maybe just after a few mulled wine🤪🤪🤪
Christmas market in Nottingham was lovely especially the Yorkshire pud wrap with Christmas dinner.yum
Fabulous video.... Moonshine is whiskey. During prohibition alcohol was an illegal substance. Bootleggers would distill and often distribute "Moonshine" at night... that is how it got it's name.
Hi Hannah, Nice to hear a young lady speaking English properly who is well spoken. I get so tired of hearing Americans and Australians butchering our language. Well done keep it up 👍
Oh! To answer your question, Hannah, about the moonshine, it was a type of alcoholic drink that was made illegally and distributed in the United States during the Prohibition era when alcohol was banned. Now, it’s just another drink Americans can have.

Happy Holidays! London is definitely my favorite city so far and I am very grateful I found your channel. It brings so much joy and keeps me positive while I cannot be there. Every time I watch new vlog, I’m like traveling. Thank you for sharing everything with us. While living in Canada, it’s extremely important to me to keep bit of Europe in my life, since I’m originally from Estonia. And talking about cold…goosh, last year I had a chance to reach new numbers in my life. Unfortunately we are not talking about weight numbers and thankfully not yet age, but winter here can get very brutal, especially in the middle of Canada. Together with wind I experienced-43 degrees in Celsius. And that hurts. So badly that after crying for a bit I realized my tears froze and there was nothing else to do than just laugh about whole situation. This year we’ve been lucky and mostly having mild winter. Bit of a frost during the night and reasonable temperatures in daytime. Keep doing what you doing, because London has special place in my heart, as whole England. And I will keep watching your new vlogs. Merry Christmas!🎉
Where I grew up in BC, Canada, a little town called 100 Mile House, it hits -35c to -48c in January and Feb.
It must be tough to sell enough product as a food vendor, and stand in the cold the whole day. During Christmas the local supermarkets sell gammon, and fruit mince cakes. I like the Christmas pudding with Brandy. According to the internet, gammon is also popular in the UK, second to turkey.
From West Java, Indonesia. Merry Christmas, world!! Happy bornday, my KING
The shops a restaurants in London put a lot of effort into Christmas. Makes me envious as our merchants do not have a clue.
Those little fish shaped custard things looked like a good idea, and sounded yummy. I would not have been able to pass that first sausage stand without getting a bratwurst or the smoked one. It is -9C here in Canada where i am and can get a lot colder, like -20 - -32C. I love those door trims you show, really nice.
Yes, I can see the flickering garland. Gorgeous!
Perfect timing!!!
This morning it was -6.11111 C - 21 F and foggy 😶🌫
Thanks for the cool video 👍 It sounds kinda cute when you say Bratwurst 👋😍🌲🇩🇪 Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Hannah! I'm from Moonshine Central basically. It's just a white non-aged spirit made from corn, versus bourbon which is barrel aged and has a more involved distilling process. Then they add loads of flavorings in the shine like they do with vodka. Grownups drink bourbon and leave the shine for the college kids and the many many tourists. Thanks for taking us along Christmasy London and have a lovely time with your family.
A few years ago, I got to go to the leichester Square and experience their christmas market. I was actually going for the new Lego store that opened up primarily.
Thank you Hannah as always, for keeping us all entertained with your fabulous vlogs!! I hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Year, with a well earned deserved break😊😊😊😊😊
You do an amazing job of bringing us the good, the bad and the quirky! Thank you!
Merry Christmas Hannah! Thanks for brightening my day throughout the year with your down to earth yet classy take and good sense of humour. I reminisce about being in London, which I miss so much, with each vlog. You show your city to perfection!

Great video, Hannah! I love Christmas markets of all types, seeing all the wonderful food and treats and the creativity, skill and exquisite detail with all the beautiful decorations everywhere.❄🎄🎁
The National Portrait Gallery is well worth visiting. Plus there's a great rooftop restaurant which has good views. It's been used in films a lot, famously Closer starring Julia Roberts.
London sure does know how to do a Christmas Market! Thank you for braving the cold and sharing Hannah! ❤
I’m in Minnesota in the US, and we had -13C this morning (8F). In January we commonly have -28C! Thanks for the lovely tour!

The Markets are a fun tradition, the forever queues for an over priced taster of some this or that ''holiday'' themed confection or sip. LOL Go Grinch Me go grinch me LOL !!! Thanks for this super fun packed adventure in Christmas London, it's all smiles here thanks to you. Merry Christmas Hannah Ricketts !!!!
Enjoyed the tour. I always love the seasonal decorations at Covent Gardens.
I am in 16C here in Florida and we are absolutely FROZEN. We are all in boots and coats which may seem hilarious to other people 😂 I love the London christmas markets.❤
Merry Christmas Hannah!! And to everyone!!!

The Apple Market is the first place I always go to when I visit London!
Thank you for an experience for me watching all these Christmas vlogs......wonderful view from where I am.
The M&M store and Lego store looks very Times Square in NYC. I don't get the appeal either! The Christmas markets may not seem like much to you, but most areas in the US will not have anything like it so it can seem very fun and festive!
Merry Christmas Hannah! It has only been a matter of weeks since I discovered your channel, and I have enjoyed it tremendously! I live in Ontario, Canada very close to Lake Huron, and can appreciate when you say it's cold. Cold? I’d love some cold… here in Brisbane, we’ve had day after day of 34-35oC temperatures. Believe me, it’s miserable Xmas shopping when every pore of your being is dedicated to generating sweat 😬
Happy Christmas Hannah and Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve tomorrow. Finally in a state where it feels like Christmas with colder temps. The past four months since being here in VA has been crazy busy. So it feels like Christmas but the it doesn’t. But seeing all your fun videos of Christmas down in London to the lovely tea at the Ritz with your sister. Has made feel like Christmas.. Put a smile on our faces and made us hungry at times.😂 with all the yummy deserts and food. Looking forward to what you share with us in 2024.❤🎄🤗
