TBH, these weren't too bad. Decent value. Most of the money lost was because of shipping, so bulk buying ftw!

He seems to only want to get all the biggest club’s newest shirts. I like the surprise of getting a shirt from a team I’ve never heard of.

It was good of you to make a point of this I feel that most influencers would just be happy that they're getting the better deal and continue promoting as if the shirts they'd be getting are just normal

The best part of the mystery box is the surprise element, it's like a FUT pack but something worthwhile. It's also perfect for beginners that have never owned any shirts other than the clubs they support. We got a couple shirts for a video and since then started trawling through shirts we want to add to our collections

This channel is getting so good now!! This type of video is actually really great tbh. I'd love to see more informational videos where you talk about the different sites and other stuff!

I bought a secret shirt co one and I completely get the point of losing your money on it but I got a shirt from a Swiss second division team I’d never heard of which I really liked and would never get otherwise so personally I think that mystery aspect makes up for the loss of money

Bought myself a shirt from surprise shirts a few weeks ago. Got a Venezuelen home kit from a few years ago, really nice imo. Happy with the purchase

This might just be me, but I do enjoy the mystery aspect of it more than simply buying a shirt. My one time of using one of these so far, has been this Christmas for my brother. The box came in good time, and I haven’t opened it yet, and the fact that I have no idea until he opens it is quite exciting. I mean if it was a Celtic shirt, I’d be laughing right up until Christmas next year because he hates them. When you look at what prices new kits are, these are still a good alternative if you’re looking to surprise someone. And although it might have been cost you the biggest loss, that Sevilla shirt is by far and away the best looking one there

Great concept for a video Ellis! Real eye-opener into these companies although, of course, they're never going to look to make a loss on anything other than sending stuff to influencers... they are a business after all. I should hope people realise this when they part with their hard-earned cash.

Currently awaiting my first mystery box from secret shirt co and this pops up in recommended lol I completely get your point in terms of value, but as you said yourself they're not gonna send shirts they make a loss on, it's a business. The main point of mystery shirts is the surprise and randomness of it. Yes you could just go buy your own shirt that's better value, but those type of customers aren't the target demographic of these companies. If that's your priority then you shouldn't get a mystery box I'm expecting to get a shirt that costs less than what I paid, but it's the intrigue that I don't know what I'm getting which makes it a fun purchase for me personally. You need to decide which you want more, the fun or the value

I saw your dispute over this on instagram with a fairly well known shirt seller where he said you were basically scamming people with mystery boxes. I wouldn’t take on anything he says he seems to be quite bitter over anyone doing better than him. He does it with the main guy from cfs he makes spoofs of all cfs videos on insta. I’ve used Mystery jerseys a couple of times now my 1st purchase got me a AC Milan shirt from about 3/4 years ago worth £20-25. My second was this seasons Lyon away shirt which I was very impressed with.

Mystique Jerseys are the best simply for the fact you are not guaranteed a good club and also the shirts are most times sold to you cheaper than they are bought

I get for people that want to get rare valuable shirts these things seem a waste of time, but for me i just wanted any random shirt, because I know if I went on classic football shirts I'd just get a well known top tier team or a well known classic shirt, but at least with the mystery boxes you can get a clean shirt from a team you wouldnt have thought of before.

I’ve bought a few of these boxes and, fun as they are, you tend to be a little disappointed. Most club websites tend to knock at least 30% off their current season shirts by November/December time so grab one then

I ordered off Mystique Jerseys after seeing an influencer getting a great shirt (didn’t think). I got a shirt and when searching it online I found it on M&M direct for £13.99. After mentioning it to customer services I was lied to being told they cannot buy from M&M as they are a registered company. Will 100% not use a mystery shirt company again
