Great job on videos always enjoy big blue thumbs up induction cooktop question duxtop 1800 W > 2 100w solar panels>rich 20a controller 2000w inverter & 2 100ah lithium batts. does not get (yes correct ) pot HOT, lowest, 200 to highest,1800. Gets hot plugged in the house.

Have you tried plugging in anything else to the inverter to see if that works? lithiums are in parallel so positive to positive and neg to neg? Only other thing is maximum discharge rate of the batteries could be too low to drive the drain from the cooktop

Nice bike! I'm looking at the same bike but all they have in stock in Small. Likely going with a Giant.

That’s my first ebike and I’m really happy with it. Handled different terrains with ease. I tried Scott and Specialized and I’d say Norco Range is far better…

Tell me about it Scott, it's a lot of cash for a bike. Try and get a test ride, Northside bikes in Chatswood are pretty good with that.

Hi Darryl, I am in the market to buy a Norco ebike ,can I ask , one year on are you still liking your Range VLT A2? Any shortcomings ? But this is the Norco I think will suit the trail riding I do . Can I ask your preferred bike dealer for Norco ( Sydney) thanks Martin

Hey Martin, still enjoying the bike. Nothings gone wrong that wasn't my own doing! I just got the cheapest deal I could get and that was from 99bikes (atrocious service however).

Just got my first e-bike, I went the practical utilitarian way "Rad power City 4". I paid $2,100 USD for the bike & 6 accessory upgrades plan on using it everyday of the week. Price, parts availability, range, dependable and upgradeable was a factor. Spending $10k+ on a bike 😂 is easy to do but not a practical platform.

For commuters, sure, but $2100USD only gets you a very basic minimum quality non electric mountain bike, for emtb you get absolutely nowhere with 2100

have you asked norco about the maximum rider weight? I have the sight VLT C1 being built up currently and max rider weight with gear is 93kg...

  • @DarrylSheather

Did you read the article that eluded to this figure also? If you go into the Norco Website there is a 2022 Owners manual, whilst it's generic it goes across a range of bike types and maximum weight limits. For all mountain/Gravity, Freeride & Downhill bikes the weights are the same. Rider: 136kg Luggage: 2.3kg (Seat bag only) Total Weight 138kg. They don't mention larger batteries etc, just rider and luggage weights and those as a total.
