I don’t understand why people still consider On3 to be a credible source for player rankings when they continuously prove that their ranking method is arbitrary at best and biased at worse. I don’t think On3 or 24/7s arbitrary rankings are isolated to athletes committing to CU but to athletes committing to other programs across the board. The difference is the Prime Effect; the visibility and media scrutiny this program receives makes it pathetically obvious. IMO, On3s ratings are no more than the boy who cried wolf 2.0 and will eventually create similar consequences.

@@Thegenesis757 it’s not exclusively “people”. These recruits value On3 and their position in the college talent evaluation process. Hell, the receiver that committed to CU today was EXCLUSIVELY broadcast on On3. So what they say, unfortunately, matters to “players”. But just as long as “we” know that Deions recruits are the only ones getting demoted “randomly” it’s all good. It’s not stopping him from getting top talent. Now all he has to do is win this year and On3’s rankings will be even more irrelevant because that game and success is going to be valuable by signing with CU than being touted on On3. This is the transition year my friend. Trust me.

I’m tired of this bogus take. I like Staub but if he’s your starter and God forbid he gets injured then what? Atleast you’re still confident with Staub as your backup but if he’s the best QB on the roster next year that’s a problem. Juju played the highest level of football in Georgia, 7A ball. He’s well known amongst high school recruits across the country. Plenty of guys want to play with him. You land juju you’re guaranteed multiple 4 stars and possibly even a few 5 stars next year and you have your QB for the future and thus can build from there. Do you know how many highly touted recruits would focus more of their attention on CU if they land Juju? Be serious and think for a second

Have you heard of something commonly known as “depth” in all positions? I like Staub and would like for him to be QB1 next season. However, from a competitive perspective, teams MUST constantly look for talented athletes. It’s the difference between a program that wins championships and a program that doesn’t. It’s not personal it’s business and ultimately, real life.
