Ever since driving the Caterham 310R last year, I have love Caterhams. Caterham kindly offered me a go in their new Super Seven 1600, and I couldn't say no! Watch the video to find out why I think they're the best driving experience of any car...

indeed... I have a super seven now, in fact Ive had 2..... "gentleman's car"? ...but I know what you mean, (mature drivers car)...good to see young ones like you appreciating this car, good video . .:)

For the ladies Colin Chapman did design some great models Elite, Elan and Europa ( all before 1970) which were a little more weather sympathetic and comfortable, but still had that amazing handling. The seven has not changed much since 1950's apart from engine variations making it a beast.

@JM Coulon Now that is a silly comment. The reality is that often women wear clothes that do not make them comfortable with low sports cars and they like to keep their hair nice. You can be as woke as you like , but it does not change reality. I have a friend with a Lotus 7 and he loves it, but his wife says it is uncomfortable and messes her hair so she wont travel in that car. It's called preference.

@JM Coulon I dont know why you are getting so excited. I still own a rare Black badge Lotus for over 50 years and have two MG Convertibles. MGA and a Midget. These are not my everyday cars but more for summer fun I do find women have a preference. I agree with Kathryn. Some ladies like their comfort. Nothing wrong with a Lotus 7 but you wont go to Ascot in it.

I am very sorry to say, that I prefer videos from Caterham-owners. Everyone wants to play "influencer", even there's absolutely no link to these great cars. What I have seen here is "waste of time" - in my oppinion.
