    @@CaffeineMan1 actually they're not really safe at all oftentimes when they say it only has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee they're lying. It's also not just caffeine pills that do this 5-hour energy does the same thing it only has as much as a cup of coffee but they don't tell you the truth. Then you have to count the other ingredients they don't tell you that they put into it because it's a supplement. Even if you're healthy person with no health condition and not sensitive to caffeine it's really not good for you

    Very informative and helpful video. I got the "equate" generic caffeine at Walmart that contians 80 tablets of 200mg caffeine for around $3. They are round tablets rather than pills so you can't break them in half, so I wish I had gotten the other kind like in the video. I work a 12 hour graveyard shift and have to drive home at the end of it, so these get the job done in situations when you can't afford to be sleepy or doze off. Keeping a few of these in the car can be a life saver, but only when absolutely necessary. I also found out the hard way that one pill tastes almost as bitter as death if you don't swallow it fast enough.

  • @CaffeineMan1

    @CaffeineMan1

    Extremely bitter! Caffeine is naturally bitter and you can taste it in coffee sometimes...and if people make products with caffeine in them, like caffeine gum or caffeinated chocolate, they need to make sure they cover that caffeine flavor up or the company goes under! Nobody likes the taste of caffeine. Working that many hours, you gotta have some of those little pills ready! Just in case. I take them with me everywhere as well. thanks for watching!

    Caffeine pills are great for those who want a controlled intake of caffeine for certain short-term tasks. I like coffee but I gave up due to dependency and the fact that I wasn't aware of how much caffeine I actually consumed. I drink tea and cocoa now, but the stimulant amount isn't quantifiable either. But I definitely need caffeine sometimes for high physical and mental intensity days, so I decided to give it a try and ordered 100 mg caffeine pills, will try them in the upcoming days. Note: coffee and cocoa increase the alertness, stress and anxiety levels, while tea is milder and better at clearing the brains. By the way, no one should be fooled and think that you can go on daily gulping caffeine at no cost for your health, it will come back to you for sure.

If those arent working, Im not sure if pills will be all that different. my dilemma...coffee with 100 mg of caffeine takes me about 10-15 minutes to consume. but a 100 mg caffeine pill takes probably 60 seconds to break open in the stomach and immediately get processed. I'm concerned that 100 mg within a couple minutes is not as good as 10 to 15 minutes. I wish they had a timed release caffeine pill.

  • @CaffeineMan1

    @CaffeineMan1

    2 жыл бұрын

    Let me see if I can help with you dilemma! Ive done a lot of research on caffeine, so this may help. I'll break it up in to 2 main parts. 1) The half-life of caffeine, for the average person is 6 hours...meaning the caffeine doesn't completely leave your system until 12 hours (once again this is average), but most people don't feel the effects of caffeine for that long. That being said, if you take a caffeine pill of 100mgs, it will be in your system for 12 hours. In the case of coffee, if you had a 100mgs cup of coffee that took you 15 minutes to drink that caffeine would be in your system for 12 hours and 15 minutes, so not a huge difference. 2) Processing of caffeine. When ingesting caffeine, it takes an average person 30-45 minutes before the body starts processing it and feeling its effects. The only way this happens quicker is with caffeine gum, caffeinated chews or any sort of chewing caffeine. In this case the caffeine gets absorbed through your oral membranes and starts getting processed faster, within 10-20 minutes. Therefore, in the case of a caffeine pill, this is ingested, so it will still take 30-45 minutes to start processing. The advantages of a caffeine pill over drinks, besides all the stuff mentioned in the video, is that you will use the caffeine from the caffeine pill quicker than you would a drink, because the drink takes time to consume. Hope that helps!!! ps-a lot of people don't think it truly takes 30 minutes to feel the effects of caffeine because they feel it faster. In these cases they are either processing the caffeine faster or is is just psychosomatic that they are drinking an energy drink, so they think they are feeling the effects. If you didnt see my video on the half-life of caffeine and are interested in my educational videos, here is the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4eVyZiJks-fnZM.html

    I’m a recovering cocaine addict. My sleep pattern is completely messed up. 2 months sober. But my sleep pattern is messed up. Im a delivery driver.. And I work usually later in the day. I struggle staying awake during work and I’m having a hard time. But I’m curious due to my old addiction if these pills will even effect me.

  • @CaffeineMan1

    @CaffeineMan1

    3 жыл бұрын

    I preface this by saying Im not a doctor... but if you dont us caffeine, the effects "should" work. BUT the biggest problem in this situation is that caffeine is a legal drug. The bad part being it IS a drug, so for someone recovering from a drug addiction, its usually frowned upon moving on to another drug, legal or not, because you can easily become addicted to it. That being said, plenty of people are already addicted to it and don't know it. All those people that "NEED" their coffee in the morning, thats caffeine addiction. But, those who are more prone to addiction may take it up a notch. 200mgs may give you enough energy to keep going...but after a few weeks or months, your body will adjust to that and you will build up a caffeine tolerance, therefore the 200mgs wont work anymore, so you may feel the need to go up to 300mgs. That will work....for a little while.... but then you might end up going up to 400 and you can see where this is going. Just some food for thought and, as always, best to contact a medical professional or whoever else you may talk to about this topic. Good luck! 👍

    Hey caffeine man, been drinking energy drinks for awhile and I’m always telling my self I need to be safe but I love them. I no longer drink the whole energy drink I just take a few sips and throw the rest away (waste of money I know) but I try to limit my intake. I also drink coffee in the morning sometimes and sometimes get the energy drink occasionally in the afternoon for work. I’m a salesman so I knock on doors and need that boost! I love it but I want to lay off of the coffee and energy drinks. I’m going to try these caffeine pills and take half’s and see how I feel. Thanks! But question, is taking a few sips of a energy drink every now and then safe? Or should I try to lean off of them? & Is caffeine pills the safest form of caffeine?

    Hey bud just an fyi since you mentioned it in the video; I wouldn't recommend an energy drink in the morning just because the high artificial sugar content is bad for your gut biome first thing in the morning when you're yet to introduce healthier and less agitating items. I just take a caffeine pill shortly after waking up before my morning shower and I find it to be an easier and less time consuming alternative to coffee.

    Yeah, I know some people have sensitivity to caffeine in the morning, especially some people with green tea due to the antimicrobials, but then others don't. There are a lot of people who drink it for breakfast before going to workout, and theres a lot of workout people here. I think the best thing is for each person to do whats best for them. But, some people may not know whats bothering them, so hopefully, they'll check out these comments. Thanks for watching!

    200mgs a day is perfectly fine. The reason I ask is just to make sure you weren't taking 3 pills a day or something, on a regular basis. That amount of caffeine hitting your system throughout the day, each and every day, can potentially cause stomach pain and not processing the caffeine fast enough. It also leads to dependency and so forth. 1 pill a day, perfectly fine. Its nice having friends who care so much about something they know so little about. Look at some of the ingredients in the foods and drinks THEY have and Im sure you can find something to scare them. 😀

    Caffeine can affect people differently. Energy drinks end up having tons of B Vitamins and other ingredients to support the caffeine and increase metabloism, so if you are used to those, straight up caffeine may have a slightly different effect. In some cases, especialy those used to caffeine, caffeine doesnt make them hyper...but prevents them from being tired. For example, if you made the mistake of having a caffeine pill before going to bed, you may not be energized, but theres a strong possibility that you wont be able to sleep, as it replicates adenosine to trick your brain into not being tired.

    What you choose to do is completely up to you. I remind people that the maximum amount of daily caffeine, as stated by the Mayo clinic is 400mgs. A lot of people go over that and i have certainly gone over it, but try to stay under it on most days. That being said, a 200mgs pill and 240mgs rockstar would put you at 440, so seems perfectly fine. Also, add to the fact that you are potentially taking in 720-960mgs of caffeine a day, 440mgs would be highly recommended to get you out of that high zone of nearly a gram. 👍

And studies no positive studies have come out yet....lots of studies being done....but no proven results. As for anything sold at GNC and Vitamin Shopppe or supplements in general, I dont mess with them. The deepest I got into a supplement store is the refridgerator.

    Over her in germany laws are more strict. You gotta show your ID.. I think you need to be at least 16. Btw our energy drinks have around 30 mg coffein / 100 ml

    It’s probably safer to have those laws on pills. As for the caffeine in energy drinks outside of the U.S. most countries regulate how much caffeine is allowed in their drinks. Policies I think the U.S should adopt.

    I think he is referring to energy drinks specifically. I misunderstood at first too. Buying caffeine is easy in most stores and online but when it comes to energy drinks, interational regulations prevent high caffeine drinks and even some countries limit the amount of sugar in the drinks.

    @@TheXtReMeBaSheR Right, Red Bull, Monster and your standard energy drinks are going to have the standard average of 10mgs per ounce (red bull 80mgs for 8oz, Monster 160mgs for 16 ozs). Its when you get into drinks like Scorpion at 240mgs and Bang and Reign at 300mgs in a 16 oz can. Bang has just been released internationally and it only has 160mgs of caffeine compared to the US version at 300mgs.

    They sell them in different sizes. The ones I buy are 200mgs in one pill. You can easily break them in half if you only want 100mgs. They also sell 100mgs but it’s around the same price so you get more value from the 200mg ones.

    You don't NEED to, but its good if you can. Energy drinks and caffeine, in general, will boost your metabolism and its good to have food in your system to help out. Some people tend to get minor stomach aches if they have Bang or Green Tea in the morning on an empty stomach, due to the high caffeine of Bang and all the healthy properties of green tea.
