There's nothing wrong with black men dating outside their race, it makes no sense for a black women to be jealous of this however if the intention of the "black men dating white women" is because of their negative perception of black women then thats a problem.

Usually those black men cite negative things about black women because they've had lots of negative experiences that led them to switch to dating white women. Most black men grow up around black women so that's who they date initially. If someone keeps treating you in a negative way then you're going to go where the grass is greener, where the streets are paved with gold, with a white woman.

No. That would be "some" negative perceptions that a particular man or number of men have experienced and dont appreciate to the point that they have found a solution to the issue. Now, this is a problem for who? Your response is a reason why some bm would feel this way. This whole "black women are uncheckable" bullshit.... and "black women can do no wrong".....foh. If someones "intentions" are a problem for some people they maybe those people should mind their own fucking business.

I am a 17 year old girl, I feel hurt that people think that all black women are like this. I understand that people prefer different things, but i still find it hurtful to know that even black men don't want us. I feel that people look at us and automatically think that we are all the same. Black men and black women BOTH have flaws. I know that black women are sometimes rude, mean, and disrespectful, but you can not say that all black women are like this, there are some that can be sweet. Looking at these types of videos upset me and I know I should be outside playing with my friends, but I want to know why so many people don't like us. I feel as when I grow up to be a women, no one will love me because I am black. I know that some will say it's the way we style are hair or the way that we talk. I want to know real reasons why people don't like us, skip the stupid reasons. I am open to everyone opinion. I know that some will hate this comment but I feel that my voice need to be heard. I am speaking for young black teenagers (mostly girls) who might feel the same way I do. Please black men and women, can you guys just love each other. you don't have to marry each other but at least love one another.

I don't think Black Women are jealous of White Women - we aren't (well at least I'm not). We're more annoyed at the fact that we get stereotyped and prejudged by black men. We constantly have to hear degrading comments about Black Women from Black Men, as if we don't belong to the same race. It doesn't matter what type of White Woman they could be dating, they'll put her on a pedestal. They'll buy her flowers and take her on dates, whereas with a black woman, they'll just want to 'chill' (get drunk and high and fuck). I don't care if the female is white, it's more so the Black Man's motives. Some Black Men will intentionally date a White Woman to provoke Black Women. If that is the case, then we're better off without those type of men. There are plenty of other black men (and plenty of other races of men worldwide) for us to be focused on this minority

What I have noticed. Is that the type of Black Woman that the guys date are not attracted to that type of Black Man, but those Black Man need to change the type of Black Woman they are attracted to there is a Black Woman that would want you. Same goes Vice versa. I am sick people stating they date outside of because their own race is [insert negative comment here]. You haven't dated all women or men of your race and not everyone is the same. Date who you want but don't base it on Race.

I agree and disagree with what you said. it really all starts with the individual. Most likely if a person really don't know what they are worth they keep getting crap but then again it gets tiring and people wanna swirl a bit and try something else. I believe cultural difference plays a major role and sometimes the grass is a Lil greener on the other side. Unfortunately black females spend the most time studying eachother lost in the race still not getting it. That's why this discussion is one of the biggest ones amongst. us.

I'm not sure if I believe this, because black guys still like black woman, in general. Yes there are some that don't like black woman, and had some bad experiences, but I don't think that's the majority. Also think about it, why is black relationships even a topic, when white relationships aren't, neither are Asian or Latino or Middle Eastern. Just specifically black relationships, movies about black and white relations, specifically focused on the black side. For example 'Something new' (White male Black female) was specifically focused around the black woman's family. The other movie 'Guess Who' (White male Black female) specifically focus on the black woman's family. And both of these movies are specifically black female and white male relationship, and not the other way around. There have been many t.v. shows with specifically black females and white males, and not as much with the other way around. There's no nationally broadcast debate on white relationships, and why white women are all of the sudden dating black men. This topic is specifically focus on black men. How many years has this topic been around, at least 30+ years. This is literally propaganda. It's best to just live your life turn off media, stop believing everything you hear, turn off the television, magazines, and music videos, and marry someone you love. For there personality and character and their positive attributes not their color. STOP letting media brainwash you!

I went to a hbcu, I grew up in baltimore but honestly, had I not met my wife, I probably would have married outside my race. in my experience, I have had tons of bad relationships, friendships and flings with sisters who are all over the place. so here is an honest assessment of why quality black men explore all options for marriages from all races: 1. a high percentage of the black woman I dated were single mothers, some times with multiple kids from multiple guys. there are times where she could have been a widow or had to leave because of danger. either way, taking on a woman with kids is a major commitment that not everyone wants to do. 2. the black girl checklist. I have had some many sisters at my former hbcu tell me the guy she marries needs to have a 4 year degree, not just any degree, it has to be a solid- engineering, science or a MBA, because history, math, and music don't make enough money. also, his credit most be on point at least a 700. needs to have a car and place of his own. this list could go on. 3. I won't settle. this one is the funniest because the word settle goes with the checklist! he has to fulfill these things our he isn't good enough. because.... 4. I DESERVE THIS. true, you shouldn't date a bum, but you are measuring this guy by his stats not his personality. 5. closed mindedness. travel, no. passport, no, water, no, mountain climb, no, try different foods, no, go to sporting event, no. It was like pulling teeth to get them to leave their comfort zone. 6. attitude. man, I have a saying, I don't leave work to go home to a harder job. I don't need a woman yelling at me about small Petty things. I need a woman who is loving and caring and supportive. I don't need a boss at home. the reason why my wife and I work so well is because we are very much partners and there's times where she's in charge and there's times when I'm in charge. this is Aliens 2 sisters who think they have to be loud and mean to be strong. 7. you want me to be soft in and weak. this isn't true I have spent many years helping my wife become a VP of a bank at the cost of my own career but because I love her we make it work. we both have to be humble and a lot of the women I met we're not. 8. many of the sisters I grew up with wanted flashy guys. Karma. guys that made them look good. now that me and my friends all married , they complain on Facebook they can't find good guys. finding love can be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. now I look online and see a lot of my ex's with decent jobs a baby in hand but no man. bottom line to all of this is if you want to be loved, you have to be lovable. if you are nice and sweet , a good guy will find you or you'll find him 1st.

I get treated indifferently or have gotten looks from some black women when my partner and I go out in public together. The funny thing is I'm actually Latin, I just look white. People need to deal with their own insecurities and stop deflecting their BS onto others that's all. His dating choice isn't a personal attack to the black community. It is what it is. He has dated Black women, White women and Latin women in the past. He just happens to be with me right now. Don't make assumptions when you see an interracial couple. But I do understand what the lady was saying how some Black men would make ignorant comments to justify why they wouldn't personally date Black women. I myself have heard some men say things like that but please don't assume every Black man is the same and don't treat light skinned women as if we're stealing your men.

Well black women only have themselves to blame. Black men have offered black women solutions for a long time: Drop the weaves and stop the overealiance on synthetic stuff, go natural, lose the attitudes, stop with the oversexualization and provactiveness, lose the weight and keep yourself up, drop the materialistic and goldigging ways, stop having babies out of wedlock and by multiple men, lose the love for thugs, stop trying to challenge a man or run a man's house, stop with the on going ratchet and unladylike behavior, etc but they didn't listen and now it's coming back to bite them in the rear. Other races are seeing what black men have been dealing with as well as seeing how the media and black women portray themselves and are saying no. They can continue to stay adamant about wearing their weaves and wigs, saying men can't handle a strong black wonan, keep dressing provactive and oversexualing themselves on social networking sites, keep getting tattoos, brag about their degrees, keep trying to challenge a man, stay with the attitude, blame black men and society for their problems, etc but the truth is they will remain the least desired, least wanted, least attractive, and least married women on the planet. It's their fault. Either change or get left behind!

But often I find when I see these couples the white woman or black man has to go out of their way to let people know their together. It's like they are boosting each other's egos for acceptance or smthn. I do like the content of this video and the interaction.

She said a black woman was looking for drama. White people don't talk like that. They see marriage as about class. Not drama. High value. White women might see a black man as a protector. But it depends on whether you are talking of high or low class women.

Such a touchy subject, hats off to all these beautiful and intelligent women who can sit down and converse and even relate to one another despite cultural differences. The angry "i'm proud this, and im superior that" nonsense gets old, and is ritualistic of of people who are consistently insecure about the world around them. Despite some popular opinions, dating outside of your race is a right reserved by everyone on the planet. However insecurities, hatred and undeviated cultural customs seem to put a clamp on this right. People who let ignorance define them, who let the hurt and the pains of their lives try to provide a social template and go about to think they have the divine authority to define the world as they see fit, even in something seemingly minute as "people shouldn't date outside their race". Bullshit. People are entitled to their opinion, however the moment that opinion manifests in some verbal or physical form to contradict any life style decision anyone makes is the moment you've over stepped your bounds, and to those who are in interracial relationships and to those who aren't; alot of the times when you're in a new situation in society you have to innately teach people that diversity in america is a right and to show that tolerance, diversity open-mindedness and love are superior in all aspects to ignorance hatred and stupidity...one kiss, handshake, hug and conversation at a time.

I think it's really sad that people of color continue to buy into the stereotypes about themselves. All you people especially black men, talking about your stereotypes of black women, the same shit gets said about black men, and it's just as untrue and unfair. The universal truth is that white people are favored by every other race in the United States because of our history of white supremacy and white being seen as universally beautiful. We need to stop stereotyping and criticizing each other, and reinforcing the bullshit narratives that are told about us. Black men and black women should be open to dating interracially and with all races, not just white people. Black women also needs to realize that other races of men find us beautiful and stop limiting ourselves to black men only. Alot of white men and men of other races are convinced black women only like black men and thus don't know how to approach us.

I am white and I am becoming increasingly annoyed at these stupid videos claiming that Black Women are jealous of White Women and White Women are jealous of Black Women. What is the point of all this nonsense? Is it to cause division between Women of different races? The truth is this: ALL Women of ALL races are competitive with each other. I have Black Women friends who have ruined their hair and scalps wearing weaves because they want the straight hair of a white person. I also have white friends who have developed skin cancer from too much sun-bathing because they want a lovely darker skin tone. We always want what we don't have. I have beautiful Indian friends who wish that they had my blonde hair, and equally I envy them their beautiful Black hair. We are WOMEN......it's just the way we are and has nothing to do with race. I would also like to say that those women that have been jealous of me have ALWAYS been white. I have NEVER had a problem with Black women being jealous of me..........in fact, my Black Women friends have shown me more Love and loyalty than my white friends.

A lot of American black women tend to be aggressive and always come with that "I'm a strong black woman" statement. Black women need to make better choices when picking men -- they lead America in out-of-wedlock babies and are least likely to get married. Also, most men could care less about black women having a college degree. Some black women throw up the "I have a college degree" statement like it automatically makes them marriage material. I've seen black women with high school diplomas get married to a good black man before black women who have master's and PHDs.

I was a big introvert in high school, so I didn't date because I had bad self confidence and I didn't think I would make a good boyfriend. This interracial dating issue is just BS to me! It is now 2022, we need to accept people for who they are as a person, not their skin color. I always wonder how things would be now if MLK, Malcolm X, Biggie, and Tupac were still alive. A person should not get judged if he or she prefers to date and/or marry someone outside their race. We need to realize that God wanted the World to be a beautiful, diverse place where his children would get closer to him.

I noticed him staring at me and I noticed her..... notice him staring at me. But the energy did not feel lustful... it felt.... sad. On the other hand, I once saw this black guy going ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure everyone knew he was with this white chick. lol... He was really doing the most. Same setting the grocery store. Why assume black men go with white women based on spite? That's the dumbest reasoning I've ever heard. That's like me as a black man get angry and jealous because a black woman goes out with a white man just because she doesn't think I'm as attractive and don't have as much money as the white man...I don't care! That's your opinion and your life I have no reason to hate on that. I guess I don't understand. I was raised not to see color. My preference for a girl goes with her personality and attitude. If her personality isn't compatible with mine and if she doesn't have a laid back calm demeanor (like mine) then I'm just not attracted to her no matter what race she is.

When in reality most men, or people, have the same views as you: Color or race shouldn't matter in relationships. You, sir, are the real MVP. I hope more women see your comment and realize that most men aren't so shallow as to date someone based solely on their race, and most men (hopefully) are in the same boat of thinking as you. Selena Parramore Thanks for the positivity. Trust most men that I hang out with have the same views as me. Well at least the people I hang around with because I don't associate myself with ignorant people. I think the reason I'm so against seeing color is because I've been the victim of it myself. I know this one girl who was a Latina we hit it off fine, personalities and everything but she only wants to be with Hispanic men. I think that's really shallow and that hurt. The only reason you don't want to be with me is because of my skin? Really? That's why I don't understand when people say they prefer this race over this because of this and that. That's just pure ignorance.

Maybe his black mother wasn't so nice. Black people rag on black men all the time and nobody mentions, "well, your father is black." Because it's assumed that all black fathers are awful.
