I've included a diagram in the description =)
Thanks, I always come back here when I need to remeber how to power correctly the shield
EXCELLENT TEACHING STYLE!!! I’m going to SUB! And LIKE!
I was wondering what if I use a barrel jack and connected the 9V battery to the barrel connector on the Arduino Microcontroller board, will the voltage be regulated to 5V on the sensor shield?
so clear thnx
hello friend wanted you to take me a question as I connect motor 28BYJ-48-5V 4 phases Stepper Motor + Driver Board ULN2003 in this Shield V5.0 ???
how can i get only 3.3v? i need at least one pin with 3.3v because my psp2 controller works with 3.3v
thank you. this is helpful
how for a module that requires 3.3v power on the sensor shiled? which pin?
Thank you for the info!
hi, how to power arduino with the jumper removed? need 2 different power supplies?
Excelente video pude resolverlo con el primer método
What is the maximum voltage that can be applied to shield

Great video, simple explanation! I plan on powering the sensor shield with a lipo battery for 12 servos. Do you know the best way to connect a lipo battery to the screw terminal of the shield?

Solder a custom wire?
Thanks for the video. I am trying to power the sensor shield from 2 x 14500 Li-Ion batteries. I understand that I need to connect to Vin but I cannot find any accessible connection on the shield other than by soldering to Vin on top of the board? Do you know if any of the Dupont connection pins allow access to Vin? Thanks

Hi my recommendation is to do a continuity test using a multi-meter to determine if any of the DuPont connections are connected to Vin.

@@QRobotix Just to follow up on this... I have now traced all of the pins on the shield and have not found any that connect to Vin. So I will have to solder to it or the Arduino.
Hello. Do i need to power the arduino board separately?
@QRobotix

No you don't need a separate power supply

Hi.. how do you address the servos attached GVS pins? Thanks

What do you mean?

Same way as you would with out the Shield, by pin numbers. #define servo1_PIN 3 Servo servo1; servo1.attach(servo1_PIN); servo1.write(90);
Do you have the datasheet of it? I want to see the register address for I2C communication protocol. I'm not able to find it online!

@@QRobotix make the video of arduino shield v5 for how to interface with other sensor on it.
can you make a video connecting a lcd screen and buttons to the sensor shield or send me a link? if its even possible thanks

What kind of LCD screen?
@robotman18

Truly any lcd screen you think would be easiest or that would work with this shield. I will purchase any screen which works well with this shield
I wish you showed the whole parts, I kept repeating the video 10 times to understand.
Hi can you please do a short video on how to power the sensor shield with a 9v battery. Thanks!
i power with 12v and burn my arduino

Hey, I plug the jumper in and the entire arduino shuts off and begins to heat up. Anyone else seeing this?

If you plug the jumper in, you can supply a maximum of 5 volts, otherwise the microcontroller will fail
