    I was wondering what if I use a barrel jack and connected the 9V battery to the barrel connector on the Arduino Microcontroller board, will the voltage be regulated to 5V on the sensor shield?

    Great video, simple explanation! I plan on powering the sensor shield with a lipo battery for 12 servos. Do you know the best way to connect a lipo battery to the screw terminal of the shield?

    Thanks for the video. I am trying to power the sensor shield from 2 x 14500 Li-Ion batteries. I understand that I need to connect to Vin but I cannot find any accessible connection on the shield other than by soldering to Vin on top of the board? Do you know if any of the Dupont connection pins allow access to Vin? Thanks

    Hi my recommendation is to do a continuity test using a multi-meter to determine if any of the DuPont connections are connected to Vin.

    @@QRobotix Just to follow up on this... I have now traced all of the pins on the shield and have not found any that connect to Vin. So I will have to solder to it or the Arduino.

    Same way as you would with out the Shield, by pin numbers. #define servo1_PIN 3 Servo servo1; servo1.attach(servo1_PIN); servo1.write(90);

    If you plug the jumper in, you can supply a maximum of 5 volts, otherwise the microcontroller will fail
