When working with these lashes, put a white pillow slip from the table to your neck making like a bib. It makes it so much easier to find them when dropped.

So far I have had no luck in applying these. I think my next step will be putting a dab of hypoallergenic eyelash glue on the inner corner so that I can hold it down better. The first ones you tried I didn't care for at all because I could see the magnets. But you looked beautiful once you got the Ardells on! I think the problem for me is that the Ardell lash is just plain stiff. They are not flexible enough to curve with my top lash line.

I 100% agree with you. I was going to go and get the accent lashes by Ardell the magnet ones but I changed my mind because I just don't want to waste any more money on the magnetic lashes.

I've watched a few hacks about these...1st...use a couple of coats of mascara so the top lashes don't slip off. 2nd....cut bottom lashes into 3 pieces so you are not fighting to apply the bottoms to tops.😁

Using an eyelash curler for about 20 sec's on each eye helps a lot for them to fit better before you apply mascara.

If you like to wear lashes keep practicing...it took me about two hours to figure out how to get them close to my lash line...make sure you open ur eyes wide..how you can get them closer also if you lift your eyelid up a little you can see the magnet from underneath and it will help you to know exactly where to place them...but I love them..my eyes are very similar to yours so I have to cut mine also..I think they look very nice on you...your a pretty lady...

Carla Stevens i will keep on trying. I open my eye's as wide as i could lol. I was just watching a video on how to apply them better and the girl cut the bottom lashes into pieces. She apply the top ones normal then took one pieces at a time ...and it seemed to work. I'm going to try it and will let you know how it works. Thanks for watching!

Girl, this was such a fun video to watch! The struggle with those half lashes was real! Why are they so difficult to apply? Jeez! I can't believe you spent that much time trying to making the Ardell ones work! You gave it the best effort (I did have a few laugh out loud moments with ya lol). Too bad they don't make them in different dimensions (like short for small eyes, medium and large). Awesome review as always. You just saved me some $$$ bills lol I will forever glue crap to my eyes. I love the full strip lashes. Some of my favourites are from Lilly Lashes (Doha); Flutter Lashes (Sydney & Tara); and Velour Lashes (Whisp It Real Good). Thank god you can get more than 1 use out of these!

they look really good

applying my lashes doing the lower lash first works great for me. I can close my eye and situate the lash to where it belongs then I put the top lash on. I can get closer to my lash line this way.

I had the same issues with Ardell I also cut them after about 10-12 trials finally got them on right on eyelashes! Happy with the result! Just have to remember don't rub your eyes off they come! :-)

Great video! I have tried many brands including the Ardell, but my favorite stands as the One Two Cosmetics full coverage lashes. They are of superior quality (as they should be at the price....) than the others I have tried. I also love the case they come in. I was very bad at lining all 4 magnets up with Ardell and do not like that you cannot tell the difference between the top and bottom lashes if you get them mixed up since both strips have the magnets under the lash strip.

I totally agree that the One Two Cosmetics are the best! Its their patent. Buying the knock off’s are like buying a true LV or a fake china knock off on side street

i absolutely love your eyeshadows!!!! What brand are they from and what colors?? I’ve watched a lot of make up/etc tutorials on here and your eye shadow colors and application look best I’ve seen!

I think the last one’s, the one’s you have on at end of video look beautiful on you! I do know from experience that magnet eyelashes have a Huge learning curve. But you have the ardell one’s on and they look great. I am pro “One Two Cosmetic Lashes” however, I do think you did get it right at the end and it does go much quicker putting them on once you get the hang of it.

You can’t cut the 3 second lashes...the magnet is too small. Be very careful when applying the lower lashes because if you get them stuck or pinching your eyelid skin it hurts like hell. These have a huge learning curve, anyone who opens the package, tries once and gives up is not giving them a fair chance.....

I tried for a few times after making this video and i still couldn't get them close enough to my lash line. I didn't give up right away. Theses lashes are just not for me.. love the idea behind it..just wish they would work.

Oh my lord, I was getting so anxious watching this...lol I would have given up the first attempt. Me and any type of lashes don't get along. I can't even put on regular falsies without ruining them. I don't know what it is, I just can't do it. Everything time you tried putting on the bottom, I clinched thinking that your eye was gonna suck up your lash hahahah

I gave up to many tries! They look good on you

I tried them and love them. It does take some practice but once you get it it's super easy. I kind of Bend mine a little bit before I put them on makes it easier to spend them in a circle. also I take a little alcohol in a spray bottle and I give him a light mist of alcohol just to clean them and let it dry

LOL I'm glad I never bought those to try them out because that just seems too frustrating. Like you said I'm sure you will get used to it after doing it awhile but I would lose them in a heartbeat😂. Great video👍

You need to use the tool to hold the top lashes in place while you apply the bottom lashes or use a tweezer. You can cut them in quarters. I cut mine in half and use the inner half to accent my outer lashes for a more natural look.

Also you need to curl them a little..like bend them in a circular motion to make them a little rounder to fit the shape of ur eyes..

I have the 3 second ones. The glue strips are way easier and quicker for me. The bold looks really weird on me. But I finally got the natural set on and my husband liked them. They looked a lot softer and more natural than the ones I've been using lately. I also got them on clearance at TJMAX for $10 as opposed to $30 at Wal-Mart so that was good. I have a great discount store close that sells real human hair lashes for $1.00 and the variety and quality are amazing so I'm lucky in that regard. When I see lashes at ULTA for $20 I want to choke when I see women spending that. But I'm cheap. I get a $300 anti aging cream from my regular physician instead of the derm. I pay $3. So my mom and bff get it from me. I used to have to give friends who went to Mexico to buy it and it was still $80. But Yeah I try and save money where I can but I'm obsessed with makeup and skin care. But I love finding deals

You really have to cut the Ardell lashes...everyone I’ve seen has a much easier time with them cut. Including myself.

Jo Poochie yes i did have to cut them because they were to long for my eye's. I have small eye's! After i went a watch a few video's on then and i have seen people cut them and also have trouble with putting them on. I guess for me once i get the hang of it , it will be easy. But when i cut them i found it was a better fit for my eye's. Happy they work great for you.

All of that was the same for me.
