One thing ive always liked to do on my favorite albums is watch how fast they age but in a good way. This album came out already souding like aged fine wine and 2 years in and im back going through the whole album. Loved people bitching about this album and how it's not their usual sound. I’m so in love with this album that I could die, literally there’s nothing like it UGHHHH so underrated, my soul leaves my body every time I listen to it, it’s just so amazing, I can’t even put it into words, it just makes me so happy I wanna cry. Like u don’t wanna be near me while I’m listening to it cause I go absolutely insane, I’m so dramatic singing each song...then again, I go crazy with every single Arctic Monkeys album so what’s new

Besides Gainsbourg [a obvious influence for Tranquility Base (...)], Turner, in this particular song, was influenced, at least to write the lyrics, by a headline of a 2017 publication in a website. He said in a interview: "That was verbatim a news story I was unable to resist clicking on about a year ago, and I was unable to resist naming a song after it. It was laid out for me. We’re just living in a world where they’re flipping monster trucks forward."

I just *LOVE* this song

This album is an absolute masterpiece, and in time people will see why. It's one of the finest and most honest music albums i've ever seen, and god it is so, so sad. Just a really depressing piece of beautiful artwork. This song is all about social media, and how it distracts people from life. It makes people waste their lives away without even knowing they're doing it, all by distracting them with stupid, pointless videos and headlines, such as "the world's first ever monster truck front flip". He's trying to show us how utterly ridiculous all of that is.
