Mardy Bum was the favorite song of my very first love. I used to listen to it with a smile on my face, but since very awful things have happened between the two of us, it has been impossible for me to listen to it again without feeling heartache. I moved on some months after being deeply hurt by her, but listening to Mardy Bum was something I refused to do. It's the first time I open this video, little did I knew the first song playing would be Mardy Bum, but I don't know why I did not skip. After hesitating for a moment, I just let myself into the music. I still think about her when listening to Mardy Bum, as memories I thought I'd forgotten about blossom again and even tho I wasn't crying, I felt like I was crying on the inside. After a bit, I did not feel anything anymore. I was just listening to the music. I don't regret what happened between my first love and I. I wouldn't replace the memories I associate to this song with any other memories. Now I'm strong enough to listen again to this song without letting the memories of her affect my mood anymore. Right now I just have a bittersweet smile on my face and I wonder what's gonna happen next in my life. Some people may not end up being what you thought they would be in your life, and that's ok. I don't know if everything happens for a reason, but I am glad I have deeply loved, deeply cried, deeply smiled and deeply screamt of anger. I guess it's just life and one day the pain that used to be terrible will be numbed, somehow. Thanks for reading and thanks for uploading this great video. I send love to all of you
