You mean the age of foolishness, yea comfort yourself in the next fabricated crisis. The only thing I can agree with is the genius of Alex Turner. But didn’t need the flu to tell me that.
If this album were a movie, this would be the part in which the main character realizes the hotel is actually there to distract people from the important shit going on in what's left of society that he should probably stop; and the reason he doesn't seem to want to leave is because everyone's locked inside (and nobody else seems to realize it but him). He's there in the armchair in 'his' private suite, liquor bottles leaned up against the furniture and strewn about, the official Tranquility Base soundtrack playing on an old record player. He wonders why he hasn't heard this song until now.

I felt that “ohhhhhhh” in every cell of my body
It’s been almost 5 years since this album came out and I still listen to it regularly. Especially this song. There’s just something so gripping about the laid back bassline and synths, the sometimes serious sometimes whimsical lyrics, the way it can paint a picture of the scene at TBHC. Concept albums are my favorite kind of album and TBHC knocked it out of the ballpark for me. I first listened to this album when I was a teen, but I suspect I will be listening to it well into my Adult life (I’m almost 23). It’s that perfect to me. I could write an essay on this album no joke, hell, I’ve ranted to my friends a whole essay about this album.

this song is so beautifully well done, it feels like when you look at something and it's perfectly symmetrical. so satisfying to hear
Dancing in my underpants I'm gonna run for government I'm gonna form a covers band an' all (Stop) Back there by the baby grand, did Mr. Winter Wonderland say "Come 'ere, kid, we really need to talk?" Bear with me, man, I lost my train of thought I fantasise, I call it quits I swim with the economists And I get to the bottom of it for good By the time reality hits, the chimes of freedom fell to bits The shinin' city on the fritz They come out of the cracks, thirsty for blood (Stop) Oh, just as the apocalypse finally gets prioritised And you cry some of the hottest tears you ever cried Multiplied by five I suppose a singer must die "Singsong 'Round the Money Tree" This stunning documentary that no one else unfortunately saw Such beautiful photography, it's worth it for the opening scene I've been driving 'round, listening to the score Or maybe, I just imagined it all I've played to quiet rooms like this before Bear with me, man, I lost my train of thought

No they're not back. Just Alex Turner is.

Nathan Wright Disagree. Just because the influences of the rest are subtle doesn't mean that they aren't there. This is an excellent record that Turner, despite being the genius he is, couldn't have executed to this level of perfection alone. I understand that Turner's contribution seems more evident, but this is undoubtedly a brilliant group effort.

It's amazing that all the songs in this album give you a familiar feeling at the same time they have a unique vibe. THBC is a masterpiece!
In love at first note... Epic album. Thank you for great music
I didn't like this song at first but now I'm like... Obsessed with it💀
I can't believe how this song was created, it's very, very good, I can't stop listening to it.

The fact that there are people who have been listening to this song and album for three years now, and I just started today is bothering me. A lot.

late to the party doesn't mean you have poor taste
That beginning reminds me of my childhood, making all the plans, dreaming big...and than the life hits you hard and than your dreams get smaller and smaller as so the literally meaning of "one point perspective".Alex Turner got really deep on this one.
I hated this album. I didn't give it a full try. I didn't see them live because this album was so different. I didn't give it a full listen, and I suffered. Eventually I listened to it (2019) and my life changed. It was everything I wanted, needed and more. Its been my fav album since. Can't believe I didn't even attempt it. It's so addicting, it's so enticing. And honesty, it was the soundtrack to the renessaince era I was having in my life I play this album while I make breakfast on the weekends. Relaxed, at ease, out of this world. Gets my mind ready for the day
I love the vintage sound. This song have great bass and the lyrics melody are beautiful.
What a tune this is , REALLY
01:55 always gives my chills . One Point Perspective is definitelly my favorite on this album.
Only the realest AM fans will pick up on Jamie’s leads sounding like his own from The Bakery

The Bakery's guitar was actually written and performed by Miles Kane
The guitar solo is haunting
Can't express how much I love this album and this song. This can't be a usual coincidence it's released on my birthday
