Arctic Blue rose - Bedard - June 2023
- Hey folks! Just want to share my Arctic Blue is fully blooming in June, 2023. This rose is absolutely stunning rose which you should have in your garden because it will keep blooming for you in the entire season. The abundant flower clusters just make the whole plant like a huge magnificent bouquet, well disease resistance and good fragrance too. Hope everyone likes it! Thanks for watching! Cheers!

Amazing rose, gorgeous colour. How old is this arctic blue rose? Does it have long blooming season? I hope to add to my rose collection this spring 24. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video of this lovely roses.

Thank you! This one is about 4 year old rose at the time was filmed. Very vigorous and floriferous plant, but not doing well if you are living in the hot climate, petals get burnt easily and the flower size is way smaller than the cool condition. It is doing very well in my climate (PNW) with good repeat until the end of November

Thanks. We are in England, UK and have similar climate/ temperature as yours in BC Canada. I plan to plant this rose in a large pot placed in partial shade (afternoon). We do have several DA and Kordes roses, some perform better in partial shade. Hopefully it will perform fine. Thanks for heads up.

@@Raj-hk5hg Arctic Blue is good in the container, at least as my case, regarding the sun exposure, as long as you have 5-6 hours direct sunlight in the growing season, it should be fine!

Thanks, if you are living in North America, Arctic Blue is pretty much popular, and easy to find, but sometimes people underestimate this rose by the first look!

So this rose is mostly pink in the heat instead of purple?

Yeah, this one is fading pretty quick in the heat. The flowers are really lavender purple in Spring but will be fading at the end of blooming stage to very light lavender and light pink
