All of a sudden I see the necessity for this. Minnesota has been a brutal state to live in as a ice fisherman this year.
Way overkill. Just get a ice climbing ice screw. You don’t need a ice auger , you don’t need a wet webbing strap. I winched my f150 with a trailer last week with only an ice screw.
I just took a piece of 1/4 inch thick, 2"x2" square tubing that was about 2 feet long. Drilled a hole through the middle of it, attached a heavy duty solid eye bolt to it. Drilled a hole in one end of it and tied 5 feet of rope to it. Works just as well at probably 1/4 the cost.
