    Good advice for avoiding cuts: do not apply pressure which requires you to press into the sheet and instead do multiple light passes. This also makes for a clean cut. Snip off the blade after about 10 to 15 cuts so it's always sharp and does not require pressure for cuts. Have a maximum of two blade scores out at any time. Advice from an older architect. Good luck on your journey 👍🏼

I mostly relied on books and everything I can find in Google for scale modelling (and design, etc) inspos as KZread was just about to boom back then. 😅

    Wowow im sorry people, unfortunately, I don't know everything regarding the matter and even if I asked him directly he would not release that info (he is hard to talk to) but I do know that as an intern or to work for a company is very difficult to grow and to earn a good paycheck. We went through difficult times a lot during my childhood, but once he started his own company and began to Grow, everything started going better. -Details to mention that might help is that he only works with foreigners who are background checked and have legal papers to reside in the country because locals many times would bate, scam, or start a project and are unable to finish. He has little (sometimes none) clients per year but you know these clients can pay. He is also popular due to his creativity, he does not make just any basic designs so if you want a squared building he will not do it.. Is he happy? That is difficult to answer. As his daughter I would love to say yes but sometimes I have doupt. He has his dreamlife now, the house, the things, the economic freedom... but he spent so much time and effort in his work that made him a negligent spouse and father, he lives in the dream house on his own. so in the end, Do whatever you want to do. it doesn't matter if you have the approval or if it doesn't give you the monetary income you want. Money comes and goes, you can make more money later, but time flies and if you keep doing things you regret, nothing would be worth in the end. Writing this was painful so Love yourself, love what you have, the people around you, and do what you love, no matter what.

    As i am doing civil engineering and i remember that when i was in my first semester we read engineering drawing. So, it was so tiring.I especially even prefer to draw by standing instead of sitting. And after 6 hours my feet were unable to walk 😅. Because that lab was of 6 hours. And after that our engineering surveying lab was also of 6 hours in our 2nd semester and it was also too tiring but i enjoyed it as well but i disliked engineering drawing lab. And in engineering surveying lab we had to do work in the field. My hand was also injured by tackling with the drawing sheets because it's edges and sides are too sharp. And my hand was injured by it's sides but i had to complete my sheet that day despite of my injured hand. I subscribed your channel.

    As someone who self harmed myself; Trigger Warnings aren't doing us a favour. We are not in the psych ward, living in a safe buble where a trigger warning is needed. We are in the real world. There are things we can not control. My mom isn't giving me a trigger warning either when she uses a knife cutting bread. My classmate who has a knife with him for cutting fruit isn't giving me a trigger warning either. When I go shopping and there are people cutting meat, cake whatever there is no warning about that. I know people give these warning to be kind. But actually it's doing nothing. We can not control our environment and if people can not function because of their triggers they need help and not a trigger warnings. Same goes for loud noises for people with ptsd. It's a kind intention but won't help because going through the city there still are loud noises etc. In my opinion this is misleading people to think the environment has to adjust around them. So they stay on the safe accounts online that give these warnings and start avoiding places where they will meet their triggers. It's keeping them from realising that they are in a situation where they need help because their triggers/mental illness/addiction etc. is keeping them from living how they want to

    @Evelyns_Bored If you're really interested in having a discussion please start giving reasons for your opinion because otherwise I have to guess what you think/mean. Obviously giving a trigger warning has short time effects. People feel cared about so it will help them in that way. But again. Don't you think if someone gets so triggered over a blade that is used for architecture that they want to self harm, they need help? Giving them warning isn't solving the problem. If you can't even watch a KZread video/are not able to just skip it if it's giving you discomfort than there is something wrong. Cuddling them isn't helping them. On top of that where do we start and were do we end? I kind of get that there is a trigger warning in a documentary about eating disorders, self harm or whatever. You can give a trigger warning in a video with a blade for architecture. But what's next? Do the people doing nail videos have to give a trigger warning? I mean the scissors for nails can be used to harm yourself to. Or what about people doing art videos. When they sharpen their pens does it need a trigger warning? I mean you could just remove the blade for self harming. Do we need a trigger warning for people cutting bread? Do we need a trigger warning before entering a super market? I mean there might be blood when you buy meat. Could be triggering,right?

    trigger warnings are not doing *you* a favor, no. don’t generalize everyone who has self harmed because you want to rant about the hypotheticals of other people’s issues. it’s realistically not harming anyone by making them think they should be accommodated for. that is a massive reach

  • @PotterFreakable

    @PotterFreakable

    4 ай бұрын

    @buckethead2510 People who self harm obviously aren't all the same. That goes for every group. For trans people, for gays, for poc .... and obviously we all have different ideas and opinions. So you are stating the obvious while at the same time you are saying everyone else of the group is agreeing with you that it's not hurting anyone? Doesn't make sense because you are doing exactly what you told me not to do. Instead it would make more sense to get to my points; if you think the majority of people who self harm are benefitting from trigger warnings you should give reasons WHY you think that. Tell me why and tell me when to stop/start trigger warnings. Why does a video like this needs a trigger warning and why is there no trigger warning when entering a butcher or when going into the nail saloon.

    Btw I don't understand why people say music is haram like I'm not religious but pls stop using religion to hurt people like wth the song she uses has nothing bad or haram in it stop trying to find the smallest and dumbest things and comment them under a video that is about education and arts. Oh and girl I absolutely love your art don't listen to those who use your beliefs against you. Your true supporters will be here and adore you because you deserve it awsome workkkk💙💙💜💜

    this immediately throws me back into my own late nights in the studio! I love the whole model making process and seeing it all come together after about a week of all nighters is one of the things that keeps me going in architecture haha
