This webinar present enviromental issue as well as the increasing complexity of researching with multidiscipliens of building and plan ing processed requires in the consideration and working methods of civil engineers, architects but as well as knowledge of quantum phyhisics and mathematics. You give us two types of research concerning the qualitfication of sound in a constructed space. First a type of a acustic which is monumental in two ways, because it involves a large public auditory space and because acoustically these auditoriums employ extremly sophisticated equipment and techniques as well as navigation acustic in port and offshore ( as well as absortipon like Yours presentation school in Poland as well as office in the Netherlands). Second a diagnostic procedure and therapeutic acustic for buildings affected by noise disturbance. An integral interdisciplinarny approach will stimulate acustic but also we must lead to better results regarding the climate and green approach and evonmy of buildings. Thank you for this webinar to see sonic acustic qulity that must be consider as a genuine parametar ready to be programmed and conceptalized by Methods and Programs defined in 21th century.

What an amazing presentation! It mentions psychology, neuroscience, architecture and design and really eye opening data. I moved from London to Brazil and the acoustics are terrible, I know many people in my family with tinnusis. I am highly interested to study this subject and provide a good acoustic isolation service within existing interior spaces service (because I am an interior designer) for the whole city! Because it would be a great way for the city to be more developed and healthy.

Thanks for the compliment Luanne! I visited Brasil a couple of years ago and most places I went to had a bad indoor acoustic environment. Maybe because of the beautiful architecture of Oscar Niemeyer, who really loved concrete...

@@syrah134 Wow that's wonderful! I hope you enjoyed your stay, and that Brazil welcomed you warmly! 🇧🇷🙏🏼 Yes Oscar loved concrete and so do I, it reminds me of Japanese architects such as Kengo Kuma which I love. They commonly use a lot of stone tiles and finishings which cause these acoustic issues. In my Aunt's apartment you can hear people that are in the pool area 9 floors down. How long did you study to become a specialist if I may ask?

Hi sir.. I'm having an idea to build a house with proper use of acoustic technology..i believe building a cave in backyard with multiple micro dents and pores in inner walls and curved roofs have the great resonance and polished hard outer wall to reflect back the sound..is there any chance that this plan get failure, or anything i can do for making a perfect place for meditation

Hello Manoj, It depends on what materials you want to use. A (micro)perforated material can improve the indoor acoustic environment. Mostly these materials are more effective (higher sound absorption) with a layer of stone wool behind it. I hope this answers your question. Best regards, Pascal

Interesting. But funnily enough, the sound is pretty bad, it looks like the acoustics of the place where the speaker is could be improved…

Well noticed Juan. I used a lavalier mic that didn't connect that well with my laptop. I switched to another brand and now it sounds great. For example in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eZWusMSbh8rJqLQ.html
