Archgriffin Alumni Is Stronger Than Meditating Mage Decks!

Ойындар

Archgriffin Alumni is the Northern Realm carryover meme deck you need. Meme is a bit of a strange word here though. Basically, Alumni allows for Archgriffin Patience decks to win games without Archgriffin. Leticia is still the key card and weakpoint in the deck but if your opponent can only lock or spores the Archgriffin, you're still in business. Alumni get you access to a TON of points due to the completely overpowered Aretuza Students from round 1. Alumni also love cards like Teleportation and Casting Content, which are already run in the deck anyways. The deck is fun and surprisingly dangerous. Make sure to play it fast before people tech properly to beat it!

This deck is getting closer to being actually viable and not just a meme and that scares me but at the same time makes me feel proud of it

Why proud? But yeah, often if you don't have the answer, you lose.

@@RustCohle072 that's the thing, it all depends on a matchup. You can be really unlucky and play mostly against control decks.

Well, Jon was playing mostly against greedy non control decks. So, it's a little misrepresented. Griffin is still a meme and no more.

Bold of you to assume I haven't been playing only Archgriffin for the past two days, Jon :p The mages were only a curiosity, we all know what The True Deck looks like ;)

Tried it and, well, it's still a meme. I am now on the 5th rank and face mostly control decks, thus archgriffin doesn't work. I try to put my cards but they are instantly being destroyed. As a meme deck I would prefer salamander because it's less vulnerable to such things.

So their design philosophy for NR is keep printing greedy engines to the point opponent either full controls everything or watches hundred points of carry over. I was expecting alumni to require both students in play to get the effect, bruh.

The first guy was so BAD. That's the thing I don't like about Gwent (I guess other card games as well). A lot of ppl simply copy a netdeck without knowing how to pilot it or how the cards work. And most of them have never built their own deck
