This is a high quality video. Excellent biomechanics. Most folks will find weaknesses in their shoulder girdles by doing these, so do not be daunted by there difficulty. If done as directed strength will quickly build. I applaud the title Pre Hab - very apt. Thank you for your efforts.

I've been having back and shoulder pains for a long time, and I'm only sixteen. My father (who is a paramedic) thought I was starting to show signs of scoliosis, because of my posture, pain, etc. I started doing these exercises and I almost immediately started noticing how my posture was improved. As I kept progressing, I started seeing the shoulder muscles. I can now finally get back to archery, sword fighting and all the other sports I love. Thank you so so SO much for this xx

These are really important exercises... I have had problems with my shoulders due to excessive bench-pressing etc. Now I have been working on with shoulder movement and supporting muscles of shoulders. I'll put these shown exercises to my daily routine!

Kenton, you motivate me and THAT'S a hard thing to do. I'm ex Army. Never quit. Never give up. But in 1997 and 18 wheeler ran a red light and guess who was in his sights? Left 9 ribs broke in 22 places, punctured lungs, torn diaphragm, collapsed both lungs, lacerated spleen, broken clavicle, shredded left hand tendons, and the list goes on. One back surgery and they want to do another. 4 vertebrae in my neck fused together. So as you might imagine, this 185 lb lean Army machine is now a 240 lb weakling. I had to drop my bow from 70lb down to 55 and it's still a struggle to pull is back. I had to relearn to play guitar from my butchered left hand. And I can recondition myself and bow hunt again. I just replaced the engine in my daughters car when they wanted to take it to some one. I said NO, I need to do this. and my friend.I NEED to do this. You are NOT responsible for my well being. This is all on me. You are just my inspiration. A soldier never gives up. Thank you, for relighting that fire. I needed that.

As a new archer, have been practicing with my bow off and on for the last two weeks, every other day or every 3 days going to range, 20-30 shots a day. Just started to have pain in my bow arm side shoulder. Not serious pain but irritation. Going to give these exercises a go for a good while before picking up the bow again. Just tried only a few minutes of what you were doing and I felt some relief in the shoulder and could definitely feel muscles tighten up that I didnt think were even there. Great video. This will be part of my regular workout routine throughout the year once I get my shoulder back into shape. Subscribed, thumbs up.

How did it work out for you? Has the pain gone away by doing these exercises? I started archery not too long ago as well and also feel a pulling pain in my bow arm after a while, it doesn't hurt that bad but deff gets worse if I continue with it.

Haven't shot a bow in 15 years. I injured both shoulders in separate incidents from falling down hard. I've had surgery on both shoulders now and they don't dislocate any more when I hold them the wrong way. Loose shoulder joints suck. Gunna have to do alot of this to get prepared. Used to shoot recurve, but I think I'll get a compound bow to compensate for my shoulders being weakened. Not saying compound is for the weak, oh wait, I am saying that. Oh well.

Dislocated and fractured humorous back in 92. Wasn't a huge problem till I hit 33.. Just found your demo while researching strength training for archery.. Bought a bow 5 years ago.. had trouble with it then.. It's a long bow w/ 60 pound limbs.. Just started back up with a set of 40 pound limbs. I can shoot, but with awful form. Gonna try these exercises till next weekend and see if I can improve my form and hopefully relieve some pain in my shoulder.. Thanks for the demonstration.

The letter exercises are tough to actually figure out how to get your body to do them, but once you do, you can really feel the effect. Same with the scap pushups. I haven't yet done the workouts that require things other than the human body, but plan on getting stuff for them soon. Thanks for the video, it has really helped increase my strength and endurance!

I lift full body 2x a week and am curious if I should add this to the end of my workouts and split them 50/50 or do each workout? I don't want to interfere with my recovery from the weights and already do barbell rows, deadlifts, pullups, rotator cuff in/out, and band pull aparts. Maybe I should ditch rotator cuffs and band pull aparts and add in this complex? My right shoulder is always hurting but not injured so most likely my shoulders are rotated forward and rolling over my tendon. Any thoughts are appreciated. I missed target archery this year as I try to rehab this but definitely need to be ready for hunting.
