Archery Giant! Saskatchewan Brown Bear at 22 Yards!

Спорт

Absolute tank of a spring bear weighing in at 422lbs! We were truly blessed to have spent so much time watching this beast as close as 18 yards away. Nick has had trail camera pictures of this bear since 2015, and his mouth hasn't stopped drooling since. As an added bonus we captured all aspects of the hunt on film, we really enjoyed the recovery so hopefully you will find it as fun as we did! Congratulations once again Nick, bear of a lifetime.

I share my home with, and honor the animals I have harvested. I have immortalized them, and pay respect to their sacrifice daily... Not all need to die, but a person that gives of themselves, and their own resources to make a harvest of a mature animal, should respect it enough to honor it, or you should never be out there. After taking my largest Bear, I shot with a camera for years, and some of my favorite trophies are pictures... This man will not kill for blood lust, but the caliber of animal taken has raised the bar, and the amount of respect for them.... If you ever do take a wild animal, all that is required is to be thankful, respectful, and humble.

It's a BIack bear (Ursus americanus) not a brown aka grizzIy bear. BIack bears can be bIack/dark, brown, bIonde, cinnamon, or almost any shade in between. Spirit bears in the pacific NW aka Kermode bears are a white/beige subspecies of bIack bears (Ursus americanus kermodei). North American Brown bears (Ursus arctos) and grizzIy bears (Ursus arctos horribilis) have different ears, snouts, facial features and shape of the face as weII as a distinct hump on their shoulders and grizzIy bears have that silver/lighter tipped fur, giving them the name and grizzled appearance to the fur. Yes I'm an animaI geek for sure 😂 and Iove aII of nature's animaIs but I'm not against ethicaI hunting. Especially for those who hunt to feed their famiIies. Stay safe out there in bear country.

I laugh and joy in the kill because all the hard work I put in paid off and God provided me the animal to harvest. Hunting aint easy when you cant bait im in colorado. I am sad to kill the animal but am thankful for the food.

Are you proud of killing the bear? Was it a pleasure to you? Or were you just bored? Laughing after the shot shows that you have no respect for the animal. True hunters behave differently!

Just me i guess but i just cant see the joy of killing such a big beautiful speciman of kinetic energy. No matter the excuse none ofem make sense. Its like shootn fish in a barrel. Bear dont evn have a chance. I live in a family of hunters. We are not living in 1840 nomore. Its 2022 and there r much easier and bonafide ways to eat and collect meat. Modern day hunting IS POACHING. Its not for survival its for trophies and self euphoria. Plain disgusting.

so do you not like hunters or bait hunting? im against bait hunting but id rather harvest my own animal that lived a beautiful life than eat a chicken that never saw the light of day and had a miserable life. This bear had his time now his offspring will roam the area. All life dies but hunters do not waste the meat like it can be. Both animals can pick whats left behind and we get the meat we are after too

The bow is meant for deer even smaller black bear don't kill quick. A true fact clearly your hunting stone age its called its called guns . a 44 magnum or high powered rifle knock it down like that. And i watched tons hunting videos that show the bow sucks on anything bigger then deer.

The concept is killing it quick which a boe cant do on these animals. A fast kill the ethical way. The bow is made for hunting deer and antelope not beast.

PeopIe do eat bIack bear meat, it's said to be delicious if prepared properIy. Learn about why peopIe hunt before you come, onIy to be criticaI of hunters. If it bothers you so much, WHY do you seek out hunting videos ? ls someone forcing you to watch ? I'd be asking myseIf those questions because l simply don't watch videos l don't want to or ones that l know wiII bother me. Hunters do support conservation of animaIs because if they just kiIIed them aII off, they wouId have nothing to hunt. Money they spend on tags and fees, directly goes to causes that heIp sustain heaIthy bear populations. You wiII never change the minds of hunters by being criticaI of them on hunting videos.
