Archery Antelope Hunt | Arizona (2022)

After 13 years of building points, I finally drew an archery antelope tag in my home state of Arizona. I knew hunting these speed goats was gonna be tricky, but I didn't know I'd face one setback after another. Eventually, it all came together and I was able to get two arrows into an antelope buck. Unfortunately, my bad luck wasn't done yet, and I began a grueling tracking process to try and find this antelope. It's a story of wild ups and downs, and in the end I left with a new hunt that I love and am already making plans to get back out there and chase antelope again as soon as I can.
This hunt is brought to you in part by GOHUNT, which was absolutely key to me drawing this tag in the first place. To see how their draw odds and maps for all 50 states can make a huge different in your hunt, head over to gohunt.com and use the code LATE at checkout to get instant credit in the gear shop.

Takes a committed hunter that really respects wildlife and the game he chases to call it a "filled tag." Not enough guys out there that would be wiling to make that call. Nothing but the utmost respect to you for that. Good hunting!

Great example of how it should be. Thanks for being open and honest in your content. I also appreciate that your videos are clean and worthy to throw up on the family TV for everyone to enjoy which is a rarity these days.

At the start of your video, I could immediately identify with leaving on a hunt and then realizing I'd forgotten my tag! Did that with my deer tag once! That was a tough hunt, and sometimes no matter how hard we try to do everything right, things go a different direction. I was sure hoping you could find that buck, and I know what a sickening feeling it is to lose an animal. Eventually, that will happen to everyone who does much hunting, but as an ethical hunter, it's a hard pill to swallow. You did your best to find him, though, and I commend you for showing that sometimes things just go wrong. Hope you can get another chance to go after them, and have a better outcome! God bless!

Terrible feeling loosing an animal man, you handled it very well. I did the same thing as you after I shot a nice bull and couldn’t find him I seen that shot I took as my opportunity I’ve been dreaming of, and I messed up. Wrapped my tag around my arrow and went home, because how I see it is I tagged out on that experience. Good film buddy

Thanks for sharing! It does suck! I had an Arizona archery bull tag this year and hit an elk twice without finding it. Archery hunting can be brutal, but it’s my favorite way to hunt! My son has a rifle antelope tag that starts September 30th.

I know it can be a little noisy but I use a little trail dirt bike like a xr 100 or ttr 125 they are pretty quiet and have just enough power to get up most hills but are super easy to ride
