Soloing elites in EHM is usually done by people that farm infusions for their extra gear sets.
Although I am at 14.7k GS in this video, this can be done anywhere from 10k-12k GS once you know your class and you're used to your key bindings.
*Please note I'm using the settings for "Skill Deployment Location" and "Auto-select Target when using skills" in the Functionality menu.
