thx for the informations makes getting gold way easier xD but watch out sadly it's 3.0 where the vocation system changed so you won't get any vocation through gathering but only through the daily (family) quests ... still hoping they change that in Archeage Classic :)

Ahh right right forgot that was technically 2.9 where vocation was from gathering. Hopefully the forum post gets enough traction where people are advocating for 2.9s version and the mods decide to include it for AAC since that was probably the best vocation system. Thats kinda all I remember as well tbh

I personally think they need to revert the Vocation system to even Older one. This new* Vocation system that divided plants was one of the reason Crafted gear was neglected over Obsidian since there was always demand for Vocation badges on Live servers which made Farmers giving up on dealing with expensive vocation plants which indirectly affected Crafted gear since it became more expensive to craft and upgrade. Having all the plants in the Seed Merchant was always better for both Crafters and Farmers.

Having a tough time deciding what class to play. I played AA at launch and quite a bit. Also played Archerage for awhile, but since then nothing, so I'm totally out of the loop. Any information regarding archery in 3.0 classic? I also like Shadowblade, but again, just not sure what's good or bad anymore. Great video, appreciate the information

Archery is a solid choice in 3.0. In my opinion its a bit weaker in the mid game and picks back up in endgame with optimal gear. Also (as of me typing this comment and to my current knowledge) 2H users (aka every Darkrunner) cannot parry arrows so your snipe or endless arrows wont randomly be parried and do 0 damage. So Archery tree is in a good place right now to pick up if you are looking to play it! Also Shadowblade is a solid arena/small scale skirmish choice. It just really depends on what you are trying to focus on in Archeage.

Will you still be able to upload images to flags and boats and gliders like old AA?

Yes they are with some minor tweaks like receiving honor in auroria areas like heedmar etc.

I definitely do not recommend anyone to do alchemy and cooking. Usually each guild has a person who does this job and they craft pots and food for all their guild friends. So nobody goes and buys it from the market. Also for 2 profession labor/silver rate is not good. In other words, as Vinbaka said, if you choose one of these two professions, you will have wasted both your money and labor at the end of the road. At 3.0, the highest labor/silver earnings are in fishing and trade. If you good at pvp you can go for archeum tree and brazer business when auroria is unlocked. In addition, gathering professions such as mining and logging also bring a lot of money in the first 2 weeks of the game. Because everyone needs construction material.

seed bundles are not better for wworms

If you are only farming for worms yes worm compost is better but if you are doing any other lifeskill that requires a different mat from a seed bundle or wanting to make more money because thistle or something sells on the auction house for more money it doesnt make sense to plant down worm composts only when seed bundles also give worms. Thats just min maxing silver per labor ratio though so if you are going for worms only and dont care about the rest worm compost is definitely better in that special case.
