I'm currently playing as a Darkrunner and it's a lot of fun! I got a Epherium Stone Sword on Unique (someone in my guild gave it to me) and a Hasla T3 sword, and now I only need a good armor. If only I had them money. xD Thanks for video, really helped me out as I'm a pretty new Darkrunner. :D

Hi RythmnTV, once again great video mate :D keep it up! I wanted to ask a video request if it's possible to show us how to 1v1 with darkrunner in arena Vs Tanks (abolisher, blighter), Archers(primevil) and (most importantly) mages (daggerspell) (arcanist) things like that. If you could do this it would be very awesome of you! Also I follow your advice I got a heroic desert jerkin sadly redgrading did not work :( (went to arcane even with charms and 8 scrolls lol).

Regrading is so bad, but SO GOOD! lol Big request, but this is actually something I was planning on doing. (1v1ing vs all the classes to show you how to beat each one) So I'll definitely start working on these types of videos really soon.

Thanks for this. What about the jewelry? I'm currently using 2 gale rings and wondering if it's worth to "upgrade" those rings at Karkasse Workbench. From what I've seen it adds main stat but decreases the defence reduction of gale rings. Also can't decide which earrings to buy.

Hey I know its been a while, are these still the kinda gears you want to go for?

So is this very gear dependant? I have the hasla axe lvl2 and illustrious gear but not very optimised. Looking at a full set of the illustrious fps gear for this to be viable or can it be achieved with the quest gear?

It's just more difficult the less gear you have. You should be able to kill someone in a sleep combo.

Huuh, thank you lad for telling me this, I've been wondering for almost a month what gear I should have, so lucky me I actually buyed flame. Though, From the beginning I've been holding on to plate armor to be honest.. The reason why is because it's literally cheaper than leather, though If leather was less expensive I would obviouly go with that, So I've been crafting in Metalwork, there is a few things I wonder though.. Should I keep going at my current state ''Veteran'' and level up even more in plate, or should I cut it down and change leatherwork? Also I would like you to make a video on how you level up your skilltrees, The videos has been helping me alot lately, I am a proud Darkrunner, and I'd really like to hold on to that, Another thing which is making me curious, is the way you earn money.. I noticed you didn't wan't to tell us ''the secret way'' If I define that right, which kind of reminds me of my way of earning gold which is pretty retarded actually but it works.. What I do Is, I find a relatively ''Discreet'' big plot where I can plant my pine trees, Anywhere from 200-300. I make sure none notice this place, and the next day I got like 2 thunderstruck tree's. Of cource this may not be the case on your server but lucky me got it pretty good actually. I'm planning on setting my house around there, Also I got around 5-6 Thunderstruck this week..If you make a gold guide I would be more than glad, but it's understandable if you find it rather ''secret'' HAHA (: Good luck mate! What server do you play in?

So I quit Archeage in around October but I wanted to get back into the game. I was a level 50 Darkrunner and I used to play 1v1 arenas a lot even though I had pretty crappy gear. Any tips for a returning Darkrunner with crap gear?

Well for starters, I would grind out a Hasla t3 weapon. As for gear, just get full 7/7 GHA and regrade it to heroic. Socket that with some honor gems and you should be just fine imo

Hey Rythmn, does crafted flame set bonus (24.3% critical damage increase) stack with GHA High Inquisitor's set bonus (20% critical damage increase) that would be super nice to know :) nice videos btw!

For Primeval I would go with Gale. But if you go Darkrunner, stick with Flame! :)

So far there are 3 Ways to make much money besides the normal ways like farming on scarecrows etc. - 1) Just search in broker w/o typing in anything and sort by time left for bids ull find some very cheap stuff u can bid on , for example 50 labor points for idk 20g so on u just need to notice the time left for it and bid like 5sec before the time runs out and resell these items with a serious price. (Thats how i actually made the most gold specialy b4 server shutdowns the time on server will still run so if u bid on an item where is 2h left ull recieve it after the shutdown ;3 ) - 2) Camp on Cap Solis / Solzreed and wait for the enemy nation wich is trying to carry their tradepacks (they cant attack u , but u can attack em so they are easy targets) steal those packs and just deliver em in Solz/Cap. (the best point of that is that ur free to watch animes / watch videos etc. while ur waiting , if u want to be a real badass , spamm party invitation to pl trying to carry packs with farmcarts , mostly they will accept and so u can just take their pack b4 they leave group , or the rly badass way is to steal their carts and travel out of the city to aggresive monsters and let em destroy the cart so u can pick up the packs ofc u can just go that way if they dont turn the cart buff on :/ ) - 3) Actually works only in Haranya nation : There is a buggy way to bring packs from rockborne to falcorth plains u can just pk the traders in rockborne and deliver the pack to falcorth plains

could you make a video showing how to get close to primeavals ? I just can't beat them unless they are slow and don't predict or I catch them in stealth. Basically a video of how to beat primeavals. Also is it good to have 1 leather set and 1 plate set ? Plate set if you go vs ranged dmg/melee and leather vs mages ? thanks! :-)

yo, so my t3 hasla sword is at 326.7 dps , if the nodachi has lower dps, should i still use it, or should i get a nodachi with higher dps, and by how much higher?

how you capture archage cause i cant with OBS

Going full flame is not a good idea becausebon my server aranzeb we are probaly the most geared server and flame is just for 1v1 arena but for group pvp desert is your best option with all your gems cause it increases your survivability. Let me give you an example. You are fighting in the ocean and you see a red guils but you can only focus down one person because after 3 seconds you just blow up. What is the point? You are just going to spawn on the other side of the map being left out from your group but if you have desert itbincreases your survivability including toughness gems which are a huge thing so flame user are pretty useless in group fights

You have such amazing mobility on a Darkrunner, that going Flame is a VERY viable choice. If you get caught and blown up, it's because you couldn't kill quick enough and get out of the situation. Everyone has their opinions, but Flame in my honest opinion is the definite way to go if you have a similar playstyle to mine.

I have Celestial Epherium Flame Cap, Jerkin, Belt, guards and breeches. And Unique Delphinad Typhoon Fists and Unique Delphinad Flame boots. I used 8 luckys on my boots yesterday...and they are still Unique. =( working in getting a Delphy Flame Bow. =D

Haha! Psh, my gear should be like Standard issue dude. People should have atleast Epherium or Celestial Mag, IMO. I would imagine the next patch would be hard for some. People are saying DR's are getting nerfed but I dont care. I refuse to play Ranged. Finally got over 900 strength yesterday. :D Trying for 1k. Wonder what the soft cap is. :P

does this guy not realise agility does more than just give you more crit chance...? gives you evasion and some other stuff. making you more survivable, especially with the skills in the trees/ passives.

+LorenChristian Brown Strengh gives you way more damage, more melee precision and parry rate, which you can synergize with battle focus and deflect and retaliate from the battlerage skilltree. You want to go strengh, because the only stat that is good in aglity for darkrunner is the evasion, all the other stuff (range precision for example) is useless compared to the utility of strengh. Moreover with the skill freerunner from shadowplay you can increase your agility by +160 for 30sc every 1.30 minute.
