Archaeologists make rare find in cave

Four Roman-era swords were unearthed from a cave overlooking the Dead Sea by Israeli archaeologists. The swords are believed to have belonged to Jewish rebels who rose up against Roman rule.

    Imagine what those swords saw. Whoever put them there, was probably hiding or running from someone...they were buried in a cave and then 1000s of years later, they finally see the light of day. Just sitting there all this time...amazing. history is amazing but also scary. It really puts into perspective how fast our lives go by

    @@Google-McGoogle Okay sure will..since I have Cherokee blood in my veins as well...the artifacts are a part of your heritage and my heritage..the ones I have found were in fields where corn etc was planted and they were getting broken by the plows anyway ..I walked into the field after planting and rain and started seeing them laying on top of ground after that I would go all the time. I have several and would never ever sell any of them as I know they are a big part of my life past and present. Thank you.
