Archaeological Field Methods
FGCU instructors Annette Snapp and Paul Backhouse lead fifteen FGCU students in an archaeological field school in collaboration with the Seminoles' Tribal Historic Preservation Office. With unprecedented access to a small portion of the reservation, students learn and practice modern techniques of archaeological investigation to help piece together clues to the heritage of the Native Americans known as the Unconquered People.
