I'm using the desktop mode from my lenovo legion y700

Dolphin works for me, I can use it after I close the error, maybe because I already installed it while I was using xfce, but I switched to thunar anywhay, the problem is the the whole environment is slow because of the lack of hardware acceleration, it takes 15 minutes to load up

In my device it is not that bad but I have an Snapdragon 870. Take a look today at the video on how to run the environments with hardware acceleration and see if you can make it to work faster :)

You have to change the start script with the command to run AwesomeWM instead of startxfce4

hello, i installed it successfully but there's no console or terminal, i know nothing about linux or termux at all so what should i do

Look for one called konsole, that's the terminal for KDE

If you install all the kde apps it occupy a lot, if not a couple of GBs or so

if i change user kde doesent starts. i can start kde only if i have droidmaster as a user. how to change this? i want to set my name as user

type nano 'script' then you will see something called 'proot-distro login arch...' go to that line and then hold left arrow until you see su - droidmaster delete droidmaster and replace it with your username. then tap ctrl+X then Y to save

​@@LinuxDroidMaster funciona eu usei e tá funcionando tranquilamente o que voce faz. Baixa o chromium depois entra e vai em whatsapp web aí você aperta em configurações como se fosse o chromium normal e instalar por incrível que pareça ele funciona

i also get a huge dbus error on my Debian and can't connect to termux-x11. There goes my dear old Debian. I am probably done with Linux.

@@LinuxDroidMaster I think I am done with other linux distributions. So far, I only have Kali Nethunter on my phone and I always had it without any problems. The only problem with nethunter is that you cannot upgrade packages. The system's dpkg breaks when you try to upgrade them.

Hi! I have a tablet with a Snapdragon 870 too. Which Framework do you use? I think most of the things that work on arch should work here too but I have only tried to do some LAMP server and python programming but nothing with JavaScript

@@Sepoipaping Not sure if there are others like cinnamon or lxde you can look for the availables with the command "apt search xfce4" (and change the xfce4 part with the desktop you want to install to see if it is available)

Now I can finally say I use arch btw too. But there is a problem. My phone is Snapdragon 695 5G and Arch Linux KDE only runs for a few minutes then Termux X11 crashes. Will this issue be fixed in the future or is my Oppo A98 too low-end?
