The nice thing about her in agonist was that she mixed the screaming and the cleans. It gave it this neat balance, which both bands don’t really have anymore.

I was close to having a massive breakdown this morning. I listened to this song and in four minutes and forty eight seconds, my sanity was restored. Thank God for arch enemy!!!

When I first heard Alissa joined Arch Enemy, this is exactly what I expected to hear from time to time. I know Arch Enemy never did this before but, we can't hide that voice!

My wife and best friend of over 30 years past away August 3rd 2017. A month later this video was posted and my first hearing of this song occurred. Since then I have rebuilt my life to the point I am not miserable anyway. I have also lost over 140lbs in this time. I have to give some credit here. I think a lot of my inspiration came from this song. Thank you for uploading when you did. Quite literally helped to change my life.

I'm not a big fan of The Agonist sadly. They sound too "chaotic".

Alissa has an amazing natural voice , would love to hear more of that incorporated in future projects

I don't know if I'm the only one but I think that Alissa should do more of the stuff in 0:55. That sounds so frigging good! Clean but nevertheless aggressive. I want more of that! And this doesn't mean that her usual harsh vocals are bad, they are great as well. But I very much like the touch that the clean vocals give.

Oona Eskeli i agree, i like the growls, but i feel like having a contrast between clean and growled vocals adds a whole new layer to the song. But ever since i knew about the agonist and arch enemy I've been searching for that song where she does a gradual transition from clean to growled vocals because it sounds so good. sometimes when the verse is clean and the chorus is growled there's a bit of a disconnect, like you forget that the two parts are sung by the same person, but when there's a gradual transition it reminds you that it's still the same her singing. until this song the closest I've heard to that is maybe in predator and prayer, towards the end of the song, but it's really easy to miss.

Sure she has a lovely voice to hear.. but AE is a deadmetal band :P Sure from time to time it's alright to do some clean vocal stuff.. but to much would destroy AE. The agonist is her sorta clean vocal band ^^.

true though I heard she has a solo project that may be coming out (when?) at some point ...that may be showing off more of what she can do as far as her clean vocals too ..... I instantly fell in love with her style thanks to (no pun) Thank you pain.... that back and forth that seems so natural.... Xmetal Ya the slo project will have members from Kamelot and AE and others . we will see Loomis take a big role along with alot of clean voc.the two would fit really well.

Never forget the great musicians behind the front woman. Without them, the group is nothing...

Coming from an old school Arch Enemy fan (Johann Liiva days/Burning Bridges still absolute class..) this is brilliant. Expected it when Alissa joined, and was actually hoping for a taster in the previous album.. but now it's here.. I love the vocals... especially the aggressive clean. My only critique with the entire song is the word "Fighting" the last sylabal grates on me a tad. Also a fan of anything Nevermore, Jeff Loomis solos throughout this album are a joy. Rest in Peace Warrel.

Xmetal nice change from all the usually depressing metal songs. I can be quite depressed myself and listening to metal doesnt really help. This really does help though. Also holy damn she is talented. I thought the singer was a 2.2 meter huge guy with tatts all over. Turns out its a chick. Im not complaining!
