I’m so excited for more curse users. The curses we’ve seen so far have been so cool and unique. I was making fun of the glass curse at first but it actually felt super threatening in game. Also, since some people seem confused, I will state that players will NEVER be able to obtain curses. Vetex has said this on numerous occasions, as well as testers.

@@eidolonwyrm7850 No. Curses can be used by anyone, not just mages. Durza wasn’t a mage but he used the absorption curse and later other curses. There are a myriad of other reasons as to why curses for players would be a bad idea though.

@@eidolonwyrm7850 Unless you use aura, which all fighting/weapon builds do. Aura is magic powered by willpower, and anyone can use it. Even so, a curse player would still be completely immune to 99% of NPCs which, yeah, would be broken. That and curses allow you to fly and are just more powerful than magic, as well as the fact only one of each canonically exists.

As a comment before me said, Its most likely we only lost because of fatigue, we have been straight up running from place to place, moving from ravenna city to city, fighting that lady which name I forgot, fighting the centurions that are trying to capture us and at that point we are most likely hurt and tired as fuck, so it would only make sense we get one shotted

Argos was a curse user too I think, he was a warlord yes, didn't have magic, but if I remember correctly he consumed the cloud curse or something, (and that's his phase 3) and we beat him in an early stage of the story, more than that, we beat the king, Morden (probably) beat Julian? and it's been stated that that Viking leader and each his sons would crash us no diff, also, I don't think the glass curse is a strong one, just like the cloud.

So the questiom here is, is this curse user stronger than King Calvus? I mean he 1 shot you without any trouble while King Calvus has to charge.

@@bob-ik4hj King Calvus never had the Death Curse to begin with, the reason why they tortured Beringer was to get the location of the Death Curse which he also happen to tell Morden. Morden, by the time he arrived at Ravenna has the Death Curse while King Calvus has another Curse entirely. King Calvus could also be the one responsible for the incident with the Teal Light in Arksius Keep (Rackham's logbook) as seen as one of King Calvus' moves is literally a exploding teal light
