paper was actually quite strong cus decent speed decent dmg (for a while until its nerfed) while ink nobody cares about that I thought the reason is that vetex said that it doesn't match the theme or something so he removed it

I have a theory that both this magic came from a single powerful one and the original magic can rewrite reality itself so it was nerfed by the gods so it became separate from each other. But in order to unlock its full potential there must be somekind of requirements which nobody knows anymore.

I remember paper magic being pretty strong though, since it had a pretty nice damage output and applied bleed to targets, which would make it the fastest magic to be able to apply bleed.

I have a fan idea story on both paper and ink magic lore, they are forbidden lost magic that require 2 mages to make a very large forbidden eldritch magic circle, a summoning circle to release the horror known as Chaos.

I was an ink magic user and had a friend who was paper, so we were one of the select few who probably ever saw the scribed interaction. It wasn't really worth the effort, but it was pretty funny.

the only time I ever saw scribed was this one time i got jumped by the magic council and one of the weaker guys had ink and a captain had ink. it definitely caught me off guard

If paper and ink wasnt deleted, ppl can go cosplay Rohan Kishibe/Heaven's Door due to scribe status effect

I dont think so, General Argos was willing to kills us. General Julian was not. Even after we killed one of his colleagues he was still merciful enough to not execute us on the spot. If General Julian was apart of the order he would have killed us as we've seen how the order was willing to kill to reach their goals (Beringer). If we directly interfered with their plans imagine how vengeful they would be.

I dont think people realise how atupid it would be to have those mahic in ao, let me remind you that in ao some classes cannot use magic, making it so that any ink + paper mage would be the ultimate counter to any non magic class

Cloud, Star, Mud and Sun were mutation magics back in Arcane Adventures (There's also Plant magic which is similiar to the grass magic you thought of) There's the cloud curse in AO already, and both sun and sound is potentially becoming Lost Magics

I didn't even know that magics got removed for Arcane Odyssey, probably because I can't remember literally anyone who actually used either of these two magics.

I never really used either of these magics but I did know they were being removed because someone had said it while an ink user was present

actually paper was strong because it had bleed stack when using multi blasts ( which were meta during the time of wom) the bleed would stack and it was probably one of the busted magics in the game lol. scribed was also one of the most busted synergys because you couldnt get out of it and when scribed you would probably die because you would be getting hit a TON and you couldnt parry or get out of it.

Really wish they bring it back for fun, hell I'll use it on a WOM account I haven't used yet even if they make it super weak / hard mode only

Imagine if the final boss of Arcane Oddysey was a mage with paper & ink magic.

a cool way of it being reimplamented into the game would be that when a awaken, if you have one of the two magics as a starting magic and you take the other, you'd get one single type of magic that combines the two, and negates both down sized to each other and would add new ones

Maybe Vetex didn't add them because they were only recently discovered in WoM, and Arcane Odyssey takes place long before

I miss Ink Magic…I loved basically turning an entire battle field into a void of Ink

scribed would be broken against non mage players though

even tho they weren't the best, I wish they came back. even as a joke it would be so nice to see those come back

back in wom paper was actually pretty goated if you tried your best not to clash with other magic and just hit the target,its clash may have been bad but its damage was overall great,and with ink it was meh,i think these magics couldve stayed but nope they didnt...

I remember my max level ink save in world of magic. Never forget

Imagine if Vetex added back paper magic it would have a better clash against earth

thats aether magic, not light magic. aether is a lost magic, and well its basically just MUCH stronger light magic, i assume.

paper was good as hell because projectiles were broken so clashes didnt happen and bleed stacked for some reason

Paper magic actually had so much potential, it was hella op bc of the bleed damage, imagine how paper conjurer could’ve went, the bleed from the paper magic stacking with blades weapon bleed damage, that would’ve be nerfed so quick

Also it matching wind for as speed, wind conjured but bleed doesn’t sound very fun to fight against

i hated npcs with ink magic, i didnt appreciate the forced screen saver

i once created character in world of magic and don’t play much so when i start AO i still find that character waiting all those time at first i thought Theo’s magic is becoming lost magic but i guess his magic will just be mutated normally like in lore the mutation update will take really long time to do ngl bacause how many types in the lore if there’re mutation update then i might choose life and flare or any fire related magic to go with it

... My main in World of Magic before I transferred to AO was charred paper... It sucked a little bit, but it was literally my only level 90, so...

they merged those magics and made them into a item: "notebook"

@@Thomas_-bg8hi even with a super high power build, lightning didn’t always paralyze with rain since you needed 25% or 33% of the players health done in dmg to actually paralyze which could almost never happen unless you’re experimenting, stop looking dumb for your own sake 🙏

Tbh I would like to see paper magic in Arcane Odyssey

i think paper magic will come back but as a lost magic or somethin and depending on its name it does something dif, if its name is like rock, it becomes a rock or if you do anything else like, water, fire, wind and mabye ink will come back aswell as a lost magic and now i just thouth of something else, paper magic on its own would do nothing but if you get ink you can mix them and wright on the paper and make it do a lot of stuff.

Paper and ink mage in arcane Odyssey would have bean op if your oponent is a warrior not having eny magic you would all ways win
