Arcade Stick Custom Art Install! (Mayflash F500 Elite)

Ойындар

It was harder than I thought to make custom artwork for an arcade stick, especially when game taste is wide. Instead of being confined to a single game, or encumbered by a bloated collage; working with unique subject matter really made the process alot easier.
Arcade stick featured in the video is a MAYFLASH F500 Elite

@@AshTheBananaLad F300 is indeed cool, my friend has one. Very good for the money. The only downside is that you don't get Sanwa parts, and you don't have the plexi glass top for easy art installation. Though, you can always upgrade to Sanwa parts later, and you can have your custom art printed on a piece of sticker vinyl to attach to the top plate instead.👍

But at the same time I know what you mean, to me the classic arcade colour layout is the "SEGA Green and Pink" from their Candy cabs. I'd recommened going with something maybe subdued if you can find it. Light blue or pink to matcht he art? Or just do whatever the hell you want lol.

Hi there, I really like the stick. It's very comfortable, feels very premium and the fact that it works with so many consoles gives it a ton of versatility. The buttons and lever are all competitive quality for sure, official Sanwa parts. I have seen around on some forums that this stick may have a little bit more input lag then some other solutions out there, but personally I have not noticed it. I use the stick on my 360, PS3, PS4, switch, PC, and Mister FPGA device. The cool thing is that it's so easy to customize so that you can always swap out the PCB for a Brooks board in the future if you want the best experience.

Hi there, you can find the template I used for layout from: focusattack.com/artwork-print-and-cut-for-venom-ps4-mayflash-f500-universal/ It's a Photoshop file with instructions in one of the layers. It is already sized correctly, but i printed mine on 11x17 glossy paper. Just check with the printer you go to, check that the paper is around the same thicknes as the artwork already in there and your good. One tip I have for you when designing, is to look up some examples of custom designs for inspiration and layout ideas. Alot of the time less is more, and lastly make sure any images you use are high enough resolution, otherwise it will look blurry. Good luck!
