@@CorbinVHS not bad at all. I would relate the motion to the feeling of playing one piano key at a time. You just let your fingers fall in one motion and you get the 360

U can buy separately the mini oled screen for others arcadestick? And great vid !

Sits on my lap just fine. Only problem is if my shorts/PJs are a slippery material. The bottom is acrilic and may slide

is the firmware updatable? i heard sumthing about custom controllers being banned? i’m on ps5 but still, that might also change. i don’t wanna buy one now and then it’s obsolete in like a few months.

Typically all versions will be updatable. If it has the Raspberry Pi Pico chip then it'll be running the GP2040-CE Multi-Platform Gamepad Firmware for RP2040, But that's not ps5 compatible unless you have the brook wingman. If it has Brook's P5 mini, then it'll be ps5 compatible but that firmware is not open sourced so probs won't be banned. Everyone used to use brook but people use the RP2040 because its cheaper and that base chip can be used with majority of consoles but with brook's chips you have to spend more to get a better chip that will work with more consoles. Both are options from arcadePCBs, they are named according to the chip. I.e Slab Mini All Button Controller v1.3 (Pico Gp2040-ce) or Slab Mini Basic PS5 Brook Edition. I bought the latter since I wanted mine to be PS5 compatible without the wingman. If you want to be safe go for the Slab Mini Basic PS5 Brook Edition, (I Bought it already, procrastinating here until it arrives lol). Go the same P5 chip as me!

Hey Miniswooh did a quickgoogle search, I only saw news about Xbox banning unauthorised controllers. I think you'll be safe but make sure you get with the chip that works with the ps5 or you'll have to fork $45 for that brook wingman I mentioned

This is what the controllers compatible with: PS3/PS4/PS5*/Xbox360/PC/Switch/Android Support! *PS5 with Ps4 games only, PS5 games will need a wingman fgc.

Can you swap the buttons for sanwas for that true arcade feeling?

@@user-qy8tu2bk9m I'm not familiar with that controller but I can vouch for this stick 100%. I have the mini and it's perfectly lapable. I really enjoy the small size but the bigger slab may be more comfortable for lap play
