Pac-Man is a 1980 maze action video game developed and released by Namco for arcades. In North America, the game was released by Midway Manufacturing as part of its licensing agreement with Namco America.
The player controls Pac-Man, who must eat all the dots inside an enclosed maze while avoiding four colored ghosts. Eating large flashing dots called "Power Pellets" causes the ghosts to temporarily turn blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for bonus points.

Pac-Man is a game that's older than dinosaur dirt, yet is still as approachable and fun to play as ever. Games have gotten considerably more advanced since 1980, but few have the same staying power and recognizability this one achieved while working with so little. Here's to Pac-Man, one of the greatest video games ever made!
What a wonderful idea to put Pac man as the 1000th Arcade longplay.
That took a long time for PAC- MAN (Arcade) to get its own longplay. Although, it does seem appropriate for it to be the 1,000th arcade longplay video.
I hate it when those ghosts try to box you in and make you overcorrect sometimes. But I love this game regardless, and it just makes you want to strategize more.

*After watching Longplay* Impressive Score like no other. Once you got all the Keys and No Power Pellets work on the Ghosts, Your Already the Winner and already Completed the Scenes as it Keeps Repeating the 3rd last Scene over again. To top it off with a Grand Finale: Pac Man Kisses Pinky in the end~ What a way to end it...

I actually kind like this game because I unironically played when I was little. Bandai Namco supports and loves me for real. Even my childhood is decent.

Of the Pac Man Arcade Games, which one is the favorite? Pac Man, Ms. Pac Man, Super Pac Man, Pac Man Plus, Pac Man Jr. or the one that was both Arcade & Pinball combined? Not making the last one up. Also on TBS years ago, I think there’s some on KZread still, there was a game show called Starcade where people would play Video Games & compete for prizes like Arcade Games, etc.
This was made long before The Loud House although the ghost, Pokey, shared its name with the Cactus in Super Mario Bros. 2 (and later Super Mario World) while its nickname, Clyde, had some similarities with Lincoln’s best friend (as to Lincoln and Clyde). Midway also manufactured and released Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct (in conjunction with Nintendo) and a few console games (including The Mis-Edventures). Sadly, they went bankrupt.

8:40 Why did the red ghost turn up here? Confused... I THINK it's because the target cell was ON the intersection when red decided which way it would go, and ghosts favor U then L then D then R as their pursuit directions, when several possibilities provide the same distance to the target. 19:34 He does it here too.
