Anyone my age (50) loves Summer of 69, reminds us of lost loves, hot summers and beautiful girls or boys, and then reminds us that life happens. I defy anyone of a certain age to say they can listen to this song and not get a little nostalgic.

they're artists; what they make is what they like. the music they were presented with wasn't really similar to the music they make, in implementation or in philosophy. Régine was giving her honest opinions, Win was trying to give answers that would appease the public ("It's a classic" etc..), Tim was somewhere in between.

i disagree!! Win is a very opinionated and outspoken person. i think he is not concerned with that stuff (for a while back he had a reputation for being a bit of a diva). i think its just that his thoughts on this music is not what we expected, but also i don't think he likes it by any stretch. lol

Agreed. They're artists. But Regine's more dabbler than musician. She's a great hype man for AF like the manic pixie dream girl version of Flava Flav. But it seems like she approaches music more like the hipster art school kids do and less like a musician.

I just discovered jam or not a jam and seeing bnl, billy talent and these folks has really made my day. Amazing concept.

u dont have to like or dislike stuff because someone u enjoy / admire likes / dislikes it. i think a mistake people make when trying to be as "cool" as people they like is to reflect their taste when what actually makes them cool is that they have their own taste and not someone elses to begin with, so thats the part u should emulate =) just my take.
