For all the guys thanking Steve for so kindly providing his time and expertise- Actually this is a commercial training video produced it appears in 2002 presumably for the purposes of making money. I first saw this one a couple of years ago but it got pulled - presumably by the copyright owner. Glad to see it back tho. This is an exceptionally well done film.Well written, well presented and well observed.

Glad I found this video. I am a purely amateur engineer, but a 40 years plus teacher. This guy is a superb teacher and a great welder. He's covered all of my questions and then some without me feeling like an idiot, that takes skill and a great understanding of those of us he is teaching, plus a fantastic in depth knowledge of his subject.

I have been working diligently for the last several months at teaching myself welding using web-based resources. I have watched dozens of KZread videos and have read many articles. This is the single best video I have seen on stick welding. I intend to go back and basically transcribe it in note form as a reference to keep alongside my stick welding machine, to review before fit up.

Steve Bleile has the absolutely best welding tutorials there are, especially for stick welding, which i.m.o. is a versatile and nice way to weld, being it not the easiest.
