With the new vehicles/vehicles synergy we got recently, I'm tempted to make a Kykar vehicle decks. Making the crew while casting the vehicles seems nice enough.

ik this is way late but i have a kykar vehicle deck and it is really fun! making mana and bodies to cre at the same time proves to be really strong. not to mention you get all three of the best vehicle colors

Hoping Araumi as I used to run an Araumi deck.

I have a question, When the board wipe was cast, can mother of runes be tapped and get protection from that color to avoid be destroyed?

Unfortunately not. Protection only prevents damage, enchanting, targeting, and being blocked when it comes to creatures. Since board wipes say "each" or "all", protection wouldn't stop it. However, if the board wipe is damage based, like blasphemous act, protection would save the creature.

Any game where the Yuriko deck doesn't win is a game I love.

I've never seen her hit for 1 damage 3 times in a row. She's very win big/lose big.

@@brandonolar3217 Those wiffs hurt. I use Yuriko as my "one more game" deck to make the game go fast, and I've had those bad procs before and I can feel Sam's pain!

Our LGS sells them, but I'm pretty sure you can find them on Amazon too! They're the 30mm d6.

the arami list is so budget it has only 54 cards

I am curious how you call these decks "budget" when 2 decks are ~$1000.... only deck i would truly call budget is the Yuriko at sub $150 with the Araumi at semi budget ~$400.

@@senorsmelly1391 Ah I did miss that. My bad. My best guess is that Araumi, and maybe the other decks too, were budget when the video was filmed and then the lists got edited. I agree the budget versions should be the ones in the description if they mention budget.

When token copies of Gary are made, I didn't think the mana symbols are also copied. In other words, they should have only done 1 damage each. I could be completely wrong about this, but this was my understanding.

The copies actually do have the mana cost of the card they copy. You can find that rule in 706.2. Also I have experience trying to exile token copies with Ugin on Arena and I learned the hard way haha.

Token copies have all the qualities of the printed card they're copying (same as nontoken copies, like Clone), including mana pips, and thus devotion. I run Araumi as commander myself, and Gary is pretty brutally effective as Ethan demonstrated. Encoring 3 Gary drains the table for a minimum of 21, and you gain 63 life, for only 5 mana and exiling 3 cards from your GY.

@@greengandalfziggy1 Just tagging on here since I've dealt with this specific interaction, each gray merchant is going to account for the other ones that are out. So if you have one grey merchant and araumi out already and then you encore, the first one will see 5 total devotion, draining all for 5, the second one would see 7 devotion (seeing the first new grey merchant out), and then the third one would see 9 devotion, seeing the other two. I think that extra 6 damage total would have killed everyone just on the encore alone, but I don't remember the actual numbers.

@@codymatson6615 The tokens enter at the exact same time as one another. The entirety of the activated ability of Araumi resolves all at once (the encore), and the token(s) are made simultaneously. All 3 Gary see each other and get the full devotion (assuming nothing is changed or removed in the boardstate before each Gary ETB resolves individually)

Hey just a heads up for when you called Wrath of God, Wog, in England (maybe elsewhere I don't know) that is a racial slur so you might wanna avoid using it in the future
