Rewatching the scam presentation is wild At first, its just, 'oh, so they are sort of over acting in response to Arasha lying about something, I'm sure they're legitimately shocked and surprised but when cameras are on you you have to play it up a bit' But no, after Arasha shows you bit by bit the web of lies and deceit she built, the more and more reasonable those initial shocked reactions were

My favourite part was Courtney accidently being taken in by the scam. I already watched that vlog they was recording and remembered Ian face timing them. Courtney was so shocked and it's amazing how organically the lie spread.

I said this on the actual scam video, but I'll say it here too. Arasha's scam becomes more impressive the more you think about it. Because she didn't run one scam. She ran two. She conned her coworkers into thinking that she had booked a role, and she convinced her employers that free donuts were necessary to sell the first deception. It didn't actually matter if her coworkers believed her or not, as long as the donuts came through. But then she committed to the lie anyway out of love for the game. All while working with a team, who ran surveillance for her without getting caught or tipping off any of their marks. And to top things off, all the people that she lied to got to share in the donuts> It's like she went to a financial backer to fund a con, ran off with the backer's money and shared it with her marks, and then went through with the first con anyway just for fun. If we weren't talking about donuts, that would be the plot of a badass heist movie.

girlie knows how to lie because when other people lie and get caught they begin smiling/laughing but she stays completely deadpan which makes others doubt themselves💀

The look from shock to surprise when arasha told the girls the that she lied to them is cinematic

Its amazing how this "character" of hers is catching on quick. Unless of course she IS like that in real life. She's too good at lying I literally cant tell if her lying is an on going bit or just the real her

@@michaeldeboer Correct. Amanda and Angela aren't the scam victims in this. Arasha convinced the company that donuts were necessary for the ploy to work. Where as it's kind of reversed. It was actually the entire scam that was created to get the donuts instead. They did 'knowingly' purchase the donuts but it was under the pre-text of that it was to assist with the scam - but the donuts really weren't necessary for everything to have worked out and Arasha could have just bought them herself and had someone else place them there before she came in but she didn't.. So she got the donuts for free. It's still a scam, it's just that Amanda and Angela got tricked, not scammed. And the company who was in on it, were the ones to actually get scammed. I really love the irony of it and how elaborate it all is just for donuts. 😂😂

Who knew the one thing Smosh needed to level up was an unflinching sociopath lol

To be fair, Courtney did say in a funeral roast that Arasha needed to have “a thing”. So this is her “thing” in Smosh now.

I've LOVED seeing Arasha bloom into her niche in the smosh cast. I remember when I first saw her she was more reserved, but now she is so unhinged and mischievous, i love it so much.

This whole character arc for Arasha has been extremely entertaining to follow. Love the throughline of her lying or having a dishonest reputation during most of the recent episodes. She really is an incredible actress! Excellent compilation!
